The book was a lot of fun but I just didn't connect to the romance with our main characters. They already like one another so it felt like I was missing something..

frankie's harry potter panties traumatized me glad i was not the only one distured by that whole jk and hp bit . moving on this would've been fun to read if only both character's only personality traits were not being a grump and sunshine bc UHHHH .. cos the not like other girls and guys vibe was so heavy in this book i could never get out of it to enjoy myself fully . ren is nice and loves reading shakespeare and thats it frankie does not even get anything aside from being grumpy . this book had its moments alright but it suffers so bad from the all tell, no show phenomena that i failed to give a single flying shit abt the characters

Amazing, and so so wholesome. I laughed, I cried, I blushed all the time. I love books which make me feel all source of emotions. Especially, the good ones. I adored both of our main characters, Ren just stole my heart. I’m in love with him. Please, Dear Universe, let me have someone like him. Please.

Really made me fall in love more with love itself. Ren was such a green flag as well as Frankie. The way both of them kept wanting to communicate and work things out? Just no words. I also love how Ren has been waiting for YEARS and only showed motive once Frankie did. That was really the moment for me that made me cry my heart out. It's like realizing that there's still hope for love out there. 

Welcome to my Second Liese Book and what a book this one was! This is another heart-warming book; The second in the Bergman Brothers' series had me smiling, giggling, and laughing uncontrollably!

Frankie is on the autism spectrum and has arthritis, and she's had bad experiences with relationships in the past dealing with her lifestyle and her physical struggles. She hates feeling like a burn to anyone and doesn't ever want to be treated as less than or less capable than others. She works as a social media manager for the hockey team. Ren is a hockey player on the team and he's liked Frankie from the moment he met her, but he can't do anything about it because they're co-workers. The more Frankie and Ren start to spend time together, the more they start enjoying being around each other.

I related to a lot of Frankie’s struggles with understanding the social world around her and I loved the support she had around her from her close friends and I loved seeing her go on this journey of falling in love with Ren. I loved how patient Ren was Frankie and how he got her and the communication between the two of them was amazing! Frankie needs things blunt and honest and Ren made sure to tell her exactly what he meant and how he felt.

Honestly This book and this series I already know that I’m looking forward to picking up the next one but for the moment I just know that this was a joy to read and enjoy and a book that I wish I could experience for the first time again!

i loved ren and frankie so much??? they serve the best sunshine/grump relationship with frankie!! being!! The grump!! I mean i’ve been obsessed with grump female/sunshine male ever since i read chloe brown so is it even a surprise that i loved this? probably not. and they were both lowkey pining for each other all this time? well frankie was pining lowkey, ren was pining very very highkey. i swear he was in love with her from day one!! 

at one point she had to stay at his house and i swear the scenes were so domestic IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR ME,, i mean playing on the beach with her dog????? they truly wanted to kill me. they kept trying these ridiculous nicknames for each other and it was soo cutee!! also allow me to fangirl over ren not letting anyone except for frankie call him by his full name!! I FREAKING LOVE THAT TROPE

ren is the sweetest human on the planet!! he’s this huge nerd with his obsession for shakespeare,, he even has a book club dedicated to reading his plays!! he doesn’t like violence even when provoked by other players, he CRIES while reading to a bunch of kids, his love for his family is !!!! and i love his relationship with his brothers!! he’s basically the softest most perfect person ever. i was making heart-eyes at the screen every time this man blushed.

frankie is basically the opposite of everything he is. the cynical grump who’s afraid of relationships (she’s a secret softie but don’t say that in front of her),, she’s this all business straightforward no bullshit girl and i love her so much!! i love the scene with her and ziggy,, i literally cried so much during it 🥺🥺

the thing that i didn’t like was the amount of harry potter references!! I get that frankie’s obsessed with it and the author kinda acknowledged the dumpster fire that is jk rowling’s actions on twitter in the book but sometimes it felt like it was a little too much.

the next book is about freya and aiden y’all!!!!!!!! And it’s about fixing their marriage!!!!!! i love this trope so much ever since i read the bromance book club! and while i felt like wanting to punch aiden three or four times in the first book IM SO EXCITED FOR IT!!!

I really loved the first one but Frankie and Ren gave me everything and more so while it's hard to rate I'm bumping up to 5 Stars because I completely and utterly adore every second of this book. Maybe because it's the second book I'm not sure where the others will fall but this is a new favourite for sure!! I love this series so much that I can't wait to read them all and get to know all the Bergman brothers and their relationships even more!

Always only you sigue la historia de Ren, un famoso jugador de hockey y Frankie, la social media manager del equipo. Ambos compañeros de trabajo y con una profunda atracción que ha crecido año tras año. Gracias a que el departamento de Frankie fue robado, ella y Ren se ven “obligados” a convivir en el mismo espacio. Las chispas saltan, los corazones se unen y sus almas se entrelazan.

Acabo de terminar este libro y solo quiero volver a releer mis partes favoritas porque fue de lo más dulce que existe. Cabe aclarar que no es un libro con un villano ni con una trama muy elaborada, los obstáculos que ellos enfrentan son precisamente ellos mismos, sus inseguridades, sus miedos, su silencio. Y a pesar de todo, jamás se vuelve tedioso o aburrido, al menos no para mí. Puede ser largo pero una vez dentro de la historia solo quieres devorarla.

Ren es un osito enorme de peluche pelirojo, toda su vida luchó por encajar en algún lugar, luchó por no ser estereotipado o acosado por quien realmente era. Y lo logró, porque a pesar que es un jugador de hockey muy famoso, también es un “””nerd””” (entre comillas porque así se define él) de la literatura, ama leer, pertenece a un club de lectura de Shakespeare, lee cuentos a niños en los hospitales, entre muchas cosas más. Tiene un corazón tan tierno y soft que solo te dan ganas de abrazarlo. Siempre he dicho que prefiero los alpha heroes BUT esta vez el soft hero me ganó.

Frankie es totalmente una reina, jamás dejó que la rebajaran solo por tener autismo y artritis reumatoide, jamás dejó de demostrar que antes de cualquier cosa, era una persona y merecía ser tratada como tal, sin lástima ni tristeza. Y es que yo la amo, como salió adelante de cada una de las trabas que le puso la vida, y cómo tomó su vida en sus propias manos y la manejó para lograr lo que quería. ¿Es grumpy? Sí, pero es totalmente entendible porque es tan “dura”, tuvo que moldearse así y nadie la juzga Y EL QUE LA JUZGUE SE LAS VERÁ CONMIGO.

Como pareja son encantadores, FrankieRen se suman a la lista de mis parejas favoritas de TODO el tiempo. Lograron llegar al corazón, porque a pesar que no pueden ser tan diferentes, Ren todo un sunshine y Frankie toda una grumpy; se complementan tan bien, que es imposible no amarlos.

Como plus; algo que me gustó mucho de este libro fue que se agregaron más escenas familiares, este tipo de escenas siempre me gustan, y conocer un poco más a la familia Bergman me dejó muy feliz. Espero conocerlos más en los siguientes libros, sobre todo a mi bebé Ziggy <3.

I went right into this after reading Ryder and Willa's story and I regret nothing! Frankie and Ren are the types of characters you root for constantly within their story. While I feel as if there is not as much angst as there was between Ryder and Willa, there is something different about this story that captures your attention from the start and holds it all the way through. Honestly, I wish it was a couple of more chapters just to see Frankie and Ren interact more. But I'm also glad that Chloe Liese is able to weave the previous into the books so effortlessly that I know I will be more Frankie and Ren in the next one.

Me parece que voy a tener una charla con Chloe Liese porque cÓMO NO ME VA A DAR UN EPÍLOGO COMO DIOS MANDA TRAS UN LIBRO TAN HERMOSO !!! es inconcebible

Quitando eso... este libro es maravilloso de cualquier manera, a comparación del primer libro, siento que este fue mucho más llevadero de leer y conecté tanto con Frankie como con Ren, y ambos se ganaron un espacio muy significativo en mi corazón, en verdad que los adoro y su dinámica se me hizo de las más hermosas por el nivel de entendimiento, amor y respeto que manejaban.

Ren siendo fan de la poesía y mostrando su faceta de "hombre sensible" me derritió por completo (además tengo un soft spot por los jugadores de hockey). Por otro lado, Frankie me pareció un personaje formidable y que fue todo un placer leer, ya quiero saber más de ella en los próximos libros y ver qué tal le va en sus estudios.

Por alguna razón, a pesar de tener más vistazos a la familia Bergman, acá los sentí ligeramente más ajenos o distantes, y no sé si se debía a que estaban pasando muchas cosas en la vida de todos ellos o que no estuvieran tan involucrados en la vida de Ren a comparación de los otros integrantes de las familias, pero los que me parecieron más tranquilos fueron los mismísimos Ryder y Willa (quienes en su libro me parecieron un montón pero acá estaban más relajados), porque del resto hay muchas crisis y tensiones que me dejaron intrigada.

Por ahora, mis favoritos de esa familia son Ren y Ziggy... y tengo curiosidad por saber más de Aiden -que es un miembro honorífico de la familia por estar casado con Freya- pero que por alguna razón me da pereza aventurarme a leer su libro ya mismo jeje

En fin, muy hermoso todo y quedé con ganas de más!

• Frankie, mí reina mí angelito quiero que sea mí bestie, junto con Willa, y bueno básicamente todas las mujeres de la familia Bergman, si, TODAS, hasta la madre.

que decir de Frankie de personalidad es increíble lo fácil que fue conectar con ella, sus respuesta, sassy queen, su vulnerabilidad, su residencia ! autismo y problema en los huesos, La artritis reumatoide 3 es increíble lo mucho que lucho para llegar dónde está no solo a nivel físico sino que a nivel mental primero que nada, no puedo dejar de admirar la fuerza de Francesca es increíble como me enamoro de los personajes de esta serie a penas los conozco y los quiero llevar conmigo siempre.

once again, i find myself at a loss for words. 

first and foremost, I’d like to say that chloe liese is an inspiration. she is an activist for neurodiversity and it is so stunningly beautiful the way she makes it part of her books. 

frankie being autistic was a big aspect of the book but it never felt like she wasn’t “normal” (and i’m aware that word itself is just so! infuriating and i do not mean to be misinterpreted). what I mean is that, as i was reading, chloe’s message was so clear: autistic people should not be mistreated in a way that would make them feel less comfortable within the rest of us, they are as much worthy as any other person and should be not be victims of people’s prejudice. 

while reading, my only thoughts about frankie were “she is so strong and amazing”. as i was reading, not once did i pity her. i was in awe - she was inspiring. 

as for ren, i love how much of a cinnamon roll he is, how deeply he loves and how genuine he is. he was the perfect match for frankie, undoubtedly. 

their domestic scenes were everything to me. 

and the family? oh i love the bergman family and I’ll be starting freya’s book right away. 

p.s i’m very aware that i still have so much to learn about neurodiversity but I’m grateful for chloe’s work as she tries to bring awareness to such topics.

after reading and loving the first book in this series, i was super excited to start the next one, especially seeing that it involved an autistic love interest. unfortunately i just didn't feel as connected to the romance in this one. it still had the same great charm that i found from Only When It's Us, but this installment had me a bit less invested and i also felt that the conflict near the end was resolved way too quickly which made it seem unnecessary and random in general. overall i still really enjoy this series and i'm looking forward to reading the rest in the hopes that they measure up to the first one for me!
