** spoiler alert **
           I thought this was the absolute perfect ending. it was so nice to see what happened to Alex and Connor when they got older and to know that they never left their friends in the fairytale world. 

I also feel like some of the fairytale characters got the ending they deserved. 
They were able to go back to their kingdoms, their families were okay, red and Froggy finally had their wedding and adopted the lost boys. 

I just felt like this was the perfect way to the series as it truly felt like they got their happily ever after. Even Connor and Alex got their happily ever after. 

One thing I thought was interesting but was kinda weird at first was the fact that the book starts out as Connor being 80+ years old but it made the perfect set up for the end of the story.

I did it 
I finished this emotional rollercoaster and thereby also this incredible series. I need 3-5 business days to get out of bed and another lifetime to get over these books. They were perfect, funny, inspiring, well written and they have my all time favorite comfort characters. 
If you haven’t read these books, I highly encourage you to do it. You won’t regret it. Even though it says it’s for children (I’m 19 and absolutely adore it).

The Land of Stories: Worlds Collide - Chris Colfer

I started reading The Land of Stories the year the first book came out when I was eleven. I read each book as it was released until the last two simply because I wasn’t ready for it to end. This series means a lot to me since I practically grew up with Alex and Conner, so my high ratings of these books might be just a little biased. :)
Upon finishing this book, my heart felt equally full and empty, and I won’t deny that many tears were shed. As sad as I was to see this story end, I’m glad to have experienced the time I did with these characters who are so close to my heart.

Synopsis: 
In the conclusion to Chris Colfer’s epic Land of Stories series, Alex and Conner face their biggest challenge yet. The portal between the fairy tale world and the Otherworld is about to form, and those worlds are about to literally collide. Alex has been cursed by the witches, and the Masked Man’s literary army and the witches are poised to take the Otherworld for themselves. It’s up to Alex, Conner, Bree, Jack, Goldilocks, Red, Froggy, and the other literary characters to save the fate of both worlds.

What I Liked: 
Conner’s creativity and Alex’s love for her family and friends is what saved them - not magic
The bonds formed between characters from the different literary worlds, Connor’s short stories, the Land of Stories, and the Otherworld were really memorable and sweet
The discovery that being imprisoned in a magic mirror isn’t necessarily the end was really cool

What I Disliked: 
The Trollbella/Tin Woodman thing was kind of random, but I just kind of accepted it
I would have liked to find out what happened to Medusa

I really thought this was such a solid conclusion to the series. I also really enjoyed how this book also played with various timelines in this story. I just was super impressed with how the plot was created. I also found it intreating that this book was def a 'connor" focused book even thought Alex was always at the heart of this book. This book made me cry and also laugh. I just loved how chris crafted these characters and also this world. I just loved going back to this world!
