When Darkness Finds You
Along a busy street sits a house forgotten with time. To those who see its crumbling exterior peeking out from behind overgrown hedgerows, Auburn House is dead and decaying. But the house is very much alive, and underneath its dripping ceilings and within its cracked plaster walls lies a dark presence eager to make new friends. And no amount of fresh paint can cover up the evil inside. Robin's life has stalled. After her father's death, she's locked herself away from the outside world, her career, and her friends. Just as she decides to literally paint over her past, an unexpected text pulls her from her daze. The husband of a close friend has committed suicide. And although Robin is tempted to turn her phone over and return to the darkness, she pushes herself to her feet and makes the trek to be with her friend in her time of need. But something's off. The death is suspicious, and her friend seems more concerned with her social media channel than her dead husband. Worst of all, the house seems to be using Robin's painful memories against her.
