I love queer books so much, this had me missing a group of queer friends that i don’t even have. That being said this book kinda fell flat for me. The main character didn’t really change much from start to end, she hadn’t done anything significant by the end of the book. The whole time i was screaming for her to stand up for herself, and when she finally did, it fell flat because she didn’t really do it at all. The boyfriend’s friends were cartoonishly mean, like if you asked a generator to generate bullies. A huge part of the story is S&S and not gonna lie, i didn’t enjoy reading those parts, like i really didn’t care at all. I mean it was cute because the girls were bonding a bit but even then i didn’t care for how in depth the S&S story was. All in all, i thought aini and hollis were cute, i liked fran’s chaotic energy, and just the overall vibes of the book.
