I was provided with the audio version of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Regarding the narrators, the male narrator was completely wonderful i really enjoyed the way he portrayed the character, but I have to admit that regarding the female narrator it took me a little while to warm up to her, but once i got used to it, it didn't bother me anymore.
Regarding the story itself. I liked it a lot, and considering that it's a short book, it's not always easy to connect with the characters, but the author managed to make it happen. 
This book made me laugh a lot,seriously i almost peed myself while reading it. The banter between the main characters was top notch.
I loved both main characters, but I admit that Kadan was my favorite. The way he was so determined to communicate with Jacqueline was everything to me, especially the way he acted regarding somethong that happens towards the end of the book.
I can say without any doubt that my first reading of 2021 was a success!
I will definitely read more of the author's books.

3.5 stars! This is a quick and fun rom-com novella. The meet-cute is hilarious and I love that the hero is a vet!
