A 4.5 that leans towards a 5. There is no doubt in my mind that if this novella was a full-length novel, it would be a 5 star read. In all honesty, I wanted more. This novella is *chef’s kiss*.

From their natural, flirty banter to their chemistry, I loved Haven and August's interactions. Overall, this novella is a good time.

I am looking forward to reading more of Christina C. Jones' books if they are like this one.

let's start from the beginning,,, haven is the manager at a bookstore and she goes to this flowershop to get flowers for her store and guess who works at said shop?? august! the guy she had a thing for in collage but nothing came out of it because she was dating one of his friends at the time. BUT!!!! they're still very attracted to each other now but she's only does one night stands so she tells him she's not looking for a relationship.

after one drunk painting event of a model (ehm ehm guess who's the model), he then makes her go on a date with him (for charity) and things kinda go from there. it was sooo good!!! it was so cute and hot at the same time and there were so many funny moments and i loved ittt
