Christina Lauren NEVER MISSES. I was not prepared for the SPICE of this one 🤤🤤🤤

Loved this book! Lots of sex and fun, but the relationships and watching them unfold made it so I couldn’t put it down. Characters were well developed and you were able to really feel the struggles. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the characters and the adventure they take you on. The scenes draw you in and keep you wanting for more. I would have listened for hours longer to know more about them.
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
hot. damn.

Recomendo!

I need to move to France and find myself a Sweet Filthy Boy, ASAP.

this book was so unrealistic i just know no woman has orgasmed eight times in a night

18+ | 3.5/5 🌶 I LOVE THIS BOOK!! the humor is here, the spice is here, the EMOTIONS ARE HERE. seriously, i fell in love with their relationship so hard that I’m VERY ANGRY that this is a standalone. i needed more from them. i wanted so much more. i wanted to learn more about their future, their plans, i want to know if he ends up ever living with her, how they treat REAL married life. i would have loved a super extended epilogue or even just a second book for them. i knew how invested i was with them when i felt that heavy lump in my throat at the conflict of the book—i was so shook that i literally had to reread what just happened and my hand was covering my mouth. I didn’t see it coming especially because there wasn’t a ton of hints about it throughout the book, so when it happened, it was like an explosion in front of my face. Overall, this is steamy and sexy and funny and romantic and just such a feel-good book for me despite it being 5 stars, there are certain plot points that i wish could have been explained further. they had communication issues in the sense that THEY GOT MARRIED AND SHE MOVED TO PARIS WITH HIM, but they didn’t really talk about it a lot?? it was kind of like an elephant in the room that they chased away with sex. and there’s A LOT HERE. i loved it. it wasn’t just mindless sex where there was no plot (kind of felt that way for a little bit, BUT IT GOT TURNED AROUND FOR ME) some of the dialogue was a little awkward, but the majority of it landed well, in my opinion. there’s so much romance between them and i felt such a great connection between the two characters that the tons of sex they had was icing on the cake AND cherry on top. this is technically a stand alone as part of the series, so i’ll definitely be picking up the second book to read about her best friend and his best friend together. the conflict towards the end of the book was kind of a head-scratcher for me and idk if that’s supposed to be good or bad. I was just kind of like... ? how it unfolded, how it led to it, how it was handled after (though props to Mia for being strong enough to take herself out of the equation) This isn’t some literary masterpiece where it’ll hit all of the points for you as a reader, but goddamn it, I enjoyed it so much—I hardly wanted to put the book down and it just felt like an easy going book for me. There’s not a lot of substance, but I kind of like that about this book. It did the job for me: I laughed, I blushed, I swooned—what more could I ask for?

3.7 ? I don't know, all I know is that I enjoyed this book so much! It has a good sense of humor, beautiful romance and omg the descriptions of Paris were just amazing :') It was really easy to read, as all of the Christina Lauren's books I've read, and it let me with a huge smile and cutesy feelings! However, it is just that, a cute romance novel with lovely friendships and relationships and a little bit of drama; It was a simple story well developed, but I think something was missing, hence my 3.7 stars out of five.

The title and the cover make this book look way worse than it is. Really cute and sweet, just with a lot of smut.

like always with Christina and Lauren it's a pure pleasure to read their story. It's sexy and addictive. during the entire book i wanted to kiss Ansel. I really love thos character like always. You're never desapointed with C&L !

Basically PWP. But REALLY GOOD PWP. ^_^

Christina Lauren is my new guilty pleasure. Fairly ridiculous premise that is wish-fulfillment at it's finest. Basically, a one night stand ending in a quick-Vegas marriage, but with the PERFECT guy who whisks you off to France because he promised you (while you were drunk) that he wouldn't annul the marriage for two months. Of course he is the best sex you've ever had, he has money, and he is a perfect human being (except for that one secret he has). Whatever, this was a ton of fun, and super hot. Perfect to secretly read on your eReader while on vacation or stuck home in a winter storm.

2.5 stars...maybe.... So...This book started out great, making me laugh, but as soon as the whole Las Vegas part ended and Mia went with Ansel to Paris things got pretty weird. I saw many reviews saying how amazing Ansel is, but I confess that is not my opinion. At first I thought he was charming, but when I found out what he was hiding from Mia, I got really pissed off. I don't think that in real life their relationship would work out, because Ansel's previous actions don't instill any confidence about his behavior in a relationship. I also felt that Ansel i an asshole masquerading as a good guy. Mia was a character that I didn't love, but who also didn't provoke any bad feelings in me. I am still pondering whether I will read the rest of the series.

I loved this book so much I read it in one sitting. The characters seemed real and easily identifiable. Dialogue was well thought out and the emotions rang true, a very well written story that I enjoyed. My only complaint was the title and cover. The main character, Ansel, was far from being a boy although I do get the sweet, filthy part. The cover is also misleading in that it doesn't really give a true feel for what the story is about - good marketing though, as I'm sure the cover and title sold lots of books.

Find this review and more at kimberlyfaye reads . Sweet Filthy Boy is definitely one of my biggest surprises of the year so far. If you ask me again in a month and a half at the end of the year, it'll probably still be near the top of the surprises list. I tried to read Beautiful Bastard a few months ago, but it just wasn't for me. Not every book/author is, so I was ready to write these fine ladies off into the "not my thing" category. A friend raved about how much she loved Sweet Filthy Boy and, after reading the blurb, I decided to give it a shot. I started the audiobook one morning on the way to work, listened to it for an hour or so during the workday and promptly drove to the bookstore to buy a paperback copy so I could finish it NOT in audiobook format and add it to my favorites shelves. That's how much I loved everything about this story. I'm pretty sure there's nothing I can say about it that hasn't been said 1,000 times before – and more eloquently than I ever will – but I can't get this story out of my head. I hope writing a review will help. :) Mia's post-graduation trip to Vegas with her friends wasn't supposed to end with her getting married to a gorgeous French stranger, but that's exactly what happened. The morning after, she has some decisions to make: get an annulment, lose Ansel, this man she has an attachment to, and go on with her plan, or take a risk and go to France with him for the summer. She might not remember everything about their night together, but she remembers how it felt to be with him and the chemistry they shared. She takes a chance and to everyone's surprise, decides to join him in France. As they struggle to get to know each other and find their way back to the couple they were the night they decided to get married, I was completely hooked and totally emotional. “I want to love all of my life as much as I love this night.” There were so many things I loved about this book. The words are just beautiful. I'm officially obsessed with the quote above. It's gorgeous and totally embodies the book. The quote is part of one of my favorite things about this book: Mia's letter to herself. She didn't remember all of their night together, but the letter she wrote made everything clear. Mia has a difficult time expressing herself, but it isn't nearly as bad when she's writing. We never see more of she and Ansel's first night together than their first meeting and some flashbacks, but the letter tells us the depth of the connection they shared. Mia was a wonderful character. I loved the relationship between her and her friends. The banter and the humor grabbed me from the start. Ansel is officially my new book boyfriend. As you may have guessed from the title, he's sweet and dirty. Which is an amazing combination. I loved how upfront he was with his feelings. He's not perfect. He's a workaholic and he was keeping something pretty big from Mia, but I can forgive him for that. Mia and Ansel's relationship might have had an unconventional start, but that didn't make what they shared less real. I just loved these two. I loved watching them navigate this thing between them. I loved reading about how Mia found herself in France and was finally able to admit what she really wanted out of life. I just can't say enough about this book. It was seriously sexy. Like, off the charts on the hot-meter. The characters were easy to relate to and fall in love with. Sweet Filthy Boy is a good bit longer than the books I normally read, but it could have been twice the size and I still would have devoured it. I couldn't get enough of these two characters. I'm so excited about this series, too. I really enjoyed the secondary characters and look forward to reading their books, as well. I'll be diving into Dirty Rowdy Thing very soon.

I thought the Unhoneymooners was cute so I listened to this one by the same author(s). It definitely was filthy! It was weird how the character was 23 but the narrator reading for her sounded so old. I found myself pretty much waiting for it to be over during parts.

3.75 Stars and a C. Very cute. Very fun to read. Very realistic.

This was my third time visiting with Mia and Ansel, except this time was via audiobook. Honestly, I forgot how much fun this series is. Similar to the Beautiful Bastard series, these are all companion books following friends who become couples. Does it help to read it in order, yes absolutely. Is it necessary? Eh maybe not. You probably could read them all as a stand alone, but they're definitely better when read in order. We start out with Mia and her friends (Harlow and Lola) graduating from college and subsequently celebrating in Las Vegas. While there, they meet (and marry) a trio of men (one for each). Thus begins our adventure of Mia and Ansel navigating life as a married couple because oh by the way, they decide to remain married. Mia definitely has significant growth as a character throughout this book. It was so fun to revisit her growth. I find myself cheering for her each time. I will say, if you don't enjoy sex scenes, this book is definitely not for you. There are several and they are explicit. I think Mia and Ansel are sweet together and I enjoy their story, but (spoiler) not my favorite in the series. Overall, four stars (not a favorite but definitely above average). Trigger warnings: verbal / emotional abuse; cheating; dream ending accident.

Originally posted at Booklovers For Life Oh my gooooosh!!! I’m so freaking IN LOVE with this book!! Christina Lauren have outdone themselves! I can’t even begin to describe all of my feelings, my love for this book! When I got my arc, I literally jumped for joy and squealed. And I devoured Sweet Filthy Boy in pretty much one sitting. Sigh. I wish this book never ended. I could read about Mia and Ansel and France forever. Christina Lauren fans, I’m delighted to say that you absolutely will not be disappointed with Sweet Filthy Boy! When I finished SFB (with a HUGE smile on my face), I was thinking, “Oh my God, I think I love this book as much as I love the Beautiful Bastard series.” I fell in loooove with the characters (oh, Ansel), the writing (France!!), and everything else about this book. To be quite honest, Sweet Filthy Boy was perfection. So we have our lovely heroine Mia, who, along with two best friends, goes to Vegas after graduating college. And at Vegas, Mia meets Ansel, who is sexy, alluring, and French (let me just say I fell in love with French boys because of Ansel. I WANT MY OWN FRENCH BOY PLEASE). Buuut, after a night of hard partying and drinking together, Mia wakes up and can’t remember the night before. Enter the shocking little plot twist that I didn’t see coming at all! If you read the book, Mia’s situation may seem a bit similar to a certain other rocker book I shall not mention, but SFB as a whole is nothing like it. SFB was unique, refreshing, and so much fun to read. It’s become one of my favorite books of the year! What we know is dimly lit bars, playful banter, the clean, crisp sheets of hotel rooms. What we know is the unrequited possibility, the temptation of the idea. The make-believe. The adventure. But when you choose the adventure, it becomes real life. Ansel and Mia have an undeniable attraction to one another. Ansel wants Mia to give them a chance at forming a relationship, but Mia isn’t sure that the two of them can actually work. They had a one night stand at Vegas, ended up in a crazy situation, and now Ansel wants Mia to go back to France with him? Umm… I’d have been a little skeptical too (although now that I’ve read the book and fallen in love with Ansel, I would’ve DONE ABSOLUTELY WHATEVER ANSEL WANTED ME TO DO). Still, when Mia looks at the prospect of her future after graduation, she’s not happy about any of it. So… she decides to take a chance, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and go to France with Ansel. So Mia will spend the summer in France with Ansel, and they deal with their relationship day by day. They have a bumpy start at the beginning of their relationship though. Ansel has to work a lot, and doesn’t have much time to spare to spend with Mia, and Mia is in a foreign country left to fend for herself. There’s a definite strain in their relationship, especially since they started off rocky anyway, but the two of them are determined to make their relationship work. And it helps that Ansel is just so freaking sweet to Mia… “I just want to make love to you all day,” he says against my mouth and rolls on top of me. “I don’t want to think about work or friends or even eating. I want to exist on you alone.” Ansel is just… perfectly imperfect. He’s got so many sides to his personality, and it was incredibly easy to fall in love with him. He’s sweet, charming, funny, sexy, and he whispers sweet nothings–in French! He’s an impulsive kind of guy (which is good and bad), he’s definitely a lover and not a fighter, and I was swooning so much for Ansel throughout the book. You just can’t not smile because of him. “I love that you’re trying to learn my city. And God help the poor boys who see you walk by in that little sundress I saw hanging in the bathroom. You’ll have admirers following you home and I’ll be forced to chase them off.” Do you SEE how freaking cute and sweet Ansel is?? And as the two of them spend their summer in France together, they slowly… fall for each other. It’s slow and sweet and heartwarming and inevitable. They never really thought that they’d fall for each other, but they do, and this creates complications, because what happens after the summer is over? Mia has to go back to America, and Ansel has to stay in France. My heart was aching for the two of them, because I wanted them to work so bad. Mia and Ansel are perfect together, and have become one of my all-time favorite couples. “I’m lost in you.” I gasp, nodding frantically. “Me, too.”… “What you feel, Cerise? I feel it, too. Fuck, Mia, I feel everything for you.” Mia and Ansel’s beautiful romance was an absolute joy to read. I was swept away by their whirlwind romance, by the depth of the characters, and by the writing. There’s the perfect amount of sexy to balance out the sweet, and I loved how much Sweet Filthy Boy wrung so many emotions out of me. I’d be smiling and giggling one moment, and hurting for Mia and Ansel the next. I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK. I can’t say enough good things about it–everyone needs to experience Ansel and Mia and France. You will fall in looooove like I did. I give SFB 5 perfect stars! Quotes are taken from the ARC and are subject to change in the final version. To see my review with gifs and such please go to: https://chicnerdreads.wordpress.com/2... This is my first Christina Lauren book, these authors are very well known for their Beautiful Bastards series that I have yet to read, nor do I really care at this point. I want to start by saying that this book is purely for entertainment and you should never follow the footsteps of the main character. We meet Mia who is the quiet girl who doesn’t do anything crazy and has just graduated with a Bachelors degree, alongside her two best friends Lola and Harlow. Who in fact happen to be on the wilder side. They go to Vegas for the weekend to celebrate their graduation and Mia meets a French boy, Ansel, and things go from there. I was really loving the beginning of the story, although it is definitely instalove but I thought it was cute. And I was missing my dose of New Adult. I even told myself “omg this is like the New Adult version of Anna and the French Kiss”….yeah…no.. Till Ansel buys Mia a flight to France for the summer and while Mia is in France, NOTHING IS HAPPENING BUT WILD ROLE PLAY SEX AND MORE ROLE PLAY SEX AND EVEN MORE ROLE PLAY SEX because Mia has a problem cumming as her own self and they’re better at playing pretend. Which I mean, cool, if you’re into that stuff then have at it but my whole issue was that, the real core problems weren’t being talked about or anything. They were being shoved under the rug like nobody’s business. There’s absolutely no communication between Mia and Ansel, he’s a lawyer and works a lot, she’s living in his place for the summer and they still barely know one another. Also, Mia left with Ansel to France in matter of like 2 days of meeting him because she’s trying to figure out her own life. Then there’s this whole person that keeps being mentioned but Ansel won’t directly talk about such person which kind of draws into the “plot” and I actually disliked this because it definitely gave me 50 shades of Grey feels. The whole hiding, lying, and betrayal kind of thing is just something I don’t tolerate at all. Plus it played into Mia looking like a weakling which I didn’t appreciate, Bella and Anastasia 3.0 This book is almost 400 pages long. And I want to say that about the first 50 pages things happen, then for 300 pages its just descriptive sex, role play, her walking around France while he’s busy being a lawyer and is barely around, and then the last like 40 pages there’s a “plot twist” annnndddddd then the book ends. This book and the characters in it were just really problematic and no one should make this into #relationshipgoals Listen, I know that New Adult gets a lot of crap but I’ve read thought provoking New Adult Romance books that have literally made me cry because of it’s plot, storyline, and characters. This one did not deliver. Would I recommend this? Nope! Will I read the rest of the series? Nope!
