Now that this book is over, I can finally catch my breath and just relax. Because that book was a whirlwind of non stop action from start to finish with so much intensity. It had twists and turns that I didn't see coming. I didn't know who to trust. I felt like I was losing my mind, trying to figure out what was going to happen next or who the bad guy was. 

A special touch that I liked was that we got the POV of the killer for a few chapters. It was nice to see their thought process and their thoughts on what was going on. I wish it could have lasted longer but I'm glad with what I got. It added a more sinister element to this book. 

Faith was so wild and broken. She had some of the worst survivor's guilt I had ever seen. I felt nothing but pity for this poor thing. Everybody is against her and they just chalk her up to being crazy and a drunk. How she found the strength to figure out the truth of what happened that night her family was killed is beyond me. I probably would have given up if the entire town was essentially against me. 

Overall, this was an intense thriller! I couldn't figure out who was the bad guy was until I was told. Christopher Greyson made everybody look fishy and I couldn't trust anybody. It messed with my mind! But I really do highly suggest this book for anybody looking for that real intense thriller.

I gave this three stars not because it didn’t entertain me thoroughly, because believe me, it did. I gave it three stars because of the last quarter of this book. It was really doing the MOST. It had a lot going on that was honestly giving me whiplash. It got almost humorous at the end there with how many suspects there were. And how many times can the main character jump to conclusions and run away from everyone she has a conversation with. Also the last chapter and ending was just... something else.

This book was very interesting and thrilling at first. I liked that we had a stubborn character who defied all oddsto find the person who ruined her life. However,it turns out our main character is just destroying herself and blaming others for her poor decisions. I was all up for this murder mystery until we got two perspectives from the murderer and our main character kept making bad decisions.

At 66% I was definitely annoyed and bothered. Granted people do make poor decisions but I found it hard to believe that our character was that irrational. I felt that the author kept giving the character poor situations to make sure certain plot points happened. Rather than fun or thrilling it was very tiring. 

As much as I wanted to like this book I didn't. It made no sense to me how the main character could continuously lie when past history has shown that it only went poorly because of it. It was poor character writing and it was very messy. 

This book would have been better if it was character driven and not plot driven.
