           The twist is INCEST and Shari’s parents actually hire a lawyer to defend the person that murdered their daughter that they were grieving the entire book?? Okay. That is a BIG PASS for me on picking up anything else from this series. The sad part is that the writing style itself appeals to me so much still, but the story payoff and twist… gag and barf.

While I liked this book and think that this author has definite talent, I didn't love it. It felt a little jumpy and random to me, but it kept me entertained and I had a hard time putting it down for the last 50 pages. 
The plot was an interesting concept but the story felt dry at times. I liked the twist at the ending, and I did not see most of it coming. 
I got the book with all three stories so I'm sure that I will start reading the second book sometime soon and am excited to see what the next book has to offer. 
I would recommend this to those who enjoy YA paranormal novels.
