I lifted my chin and stared Death in the face, remembering a time not so long ago when I had begged him for my life as he dragged me into the unknown.

The very first page i noticed how unique and just incredible the writing was. It was so fluent, and i loved the references, similes and metaphors. The writing was so beautiful. When more characters were introduced, i was confused and conflicted thinking about a love interest, as i can say the MC had chemistry with both, but i thought i knew who i was leaning towards but now i’m not even sure again. This just means the characters are so easy to fall in love with, same with the storyline. I never got bored reading this, there was always something going on and honestly the plot twists surprised me even though i had a feeling 

 the one they thought killed Michael didn’t actually kill him 

 but i have an idea of who another traitor is - but i’m still not convinced i’m entirely correct. The sequel is a definite must read for me. I need to know what happens, in the romance side and plot side. Especially with that epilogue.
