clara bow's strength is unmatched. i feel nothing but sympathy for her. she lived such a hard life, her despair felt like it was never-ending. this woman couldn't win, no matter what she did. it felt like she was constantly dealt a bad hand. she really was the definition of a tortured artist. the loss of so many of her films is devastating and i truly wish somebody took the initiative to try and save them before it was too late. even with that loss though, it will never dull the shining star she was. in the films that have been saved, restored, and cherished it's clear her radiance will never be forgotten. her films may be lost, but her impact on film will never be. i hope she knows people never stopped loving her and relishing in her once in a lifetime talent. clara was one of the greatest and she always will be. rest easy, miss bow ♡
