Steamy scenes are good, some even intriguing. Overall plot was interesting. The dialogue between characters was horrendous. Middle school level. I kept reading to figure out the Eve bit, but I should’ve DNF’ed this one.

I don't really know what I was hoping for with this book, but it just felt like it was trying a bit hard to be dark. It fell a bit flat for me, but it was still a good read. The plot twist at the end was something I didn't see coming. Looking forward to reading the 2nd book, which is the one from this series I had heard about.

couldn’t finish.

My first DNF of the year. I had high hopes but there were sooooo many plot holes and yet somehow it was also too redundant? Honestly it was confusing to even try and keep up with so I gave up at like 80% since I genuinely try to not DNF anything. Combined with the editing errors (or lack of editing at all) and I just couldn’t do it anymore. This could have been really good but it felt like it was released way before it was ready.

This should have ended before the tattoo.
