"The Richest Man in Babylon" is a book that dispenses financial advice through a collection of parables set in ancient Babylon.

It's a good read teaching basic principles to earn money and pay off debt. It's easy to understand and should be just as easy to follow. Mainly you'll want to save 10% of your income and eventually invest that income in an endeavor that will make more money. It talks of a man that had to lose his investment multiple times before he finally got the hang of it. Later another man who ended up in quite a bit of debt turned to crime, became enslaved, and eventually escaped and found his five rules for working with gold, with which he repaid his debtors and became free once again. It's not a bad read, and I recommend it.

A nice book to read right before you start earning.

It’s an old book that discusses about even older stories. It is the wisdom of old and experienced passed down or shall I say “discovered in form of buried inscription made of clay”.
