Such an interesting combo of strange, sexy, dark, fantasy! Definitely going to check out his other work. I haven't read many novellas but this was refreshing. Short stories are usually too short for me, but this was sort of like a string of short stories that are loosely connected. Each chapter/story is told from a different character's POV but always involved the mysterious bookshop Lost Pages in some way. At times the writing style was a little too simplistic for my taste, but the themes, characters and fantasy elements were very rich and interesting.
