This just read very very young. It was also extremely repetitive every chapter was exactly the same; Minako swooning over an idol or handsome boy, said idol or handsome boy being evil, Sailor V coming in and defeating them in only 1- 2 pages. The defeat of each villain was exactly the same as well and I was just very bored getting through this. I wanted to read this series so I could read Sailor Moon, but I don't think I'm going to read the next volume and if Sailor Moon reads the same as this I may just skip the manga and just try and watch the anime at some point. 
I may have enjoyed this if I was much much younger, but it just was not for me.

When I picked this up I actually didn't realize it was Sailor V instead of Sailor Moon. To be honest I was thoroughly disappointed by how similar they were. V is practically the same exact girl with the same looks, habits, and personality. I get that it's a prequel and all, but if you'r going to publish a manga, you could at least make it a little bit different? Her friend Hikaru looks exactly like Sailor Mercury and even the otaku nerd is the same. The plot wasn't very interesting either. The same exact thing happened EVERY chapter.

Its Valentine's Day and chocolates are being exchanged, but Minako Aino can't decide if she wants a crush to give her chocolates to, or just to eat them all herself. If stress of Valentine's Day wasn't already enough, now Sailor V has to contend with a chocolate shop fatting everyone up, and an evil spa draining people of their life force.
