I just though this was beautiful given the heartache Kelsey had been though in her life.

The Golden Fruit sparkled in the sunshine throwing rainbows in every direction like a disco ball. I held it by its stem and spun it, thinking about what Mr. Kadam had once told me about diamonds. He'd said that cutting and polishing them is how they become brilliant. "Huh, with all the cuts in my heart, it should be about as sparkly as you are by now," I said as I twirled the Fruit.

Do you have any last words before I eat you?

"Sure." Kishan circled the turret to stay out of the dragon's range.

Apparently I am going to be rescued by either Robin Hood or Prince Charming.

She smiled at me. "To have regret is to be disappointed with yourself and your choices. Those who are wise see their lives like stepping stones across a great river. Everyone misses a stone from time to time. No one can cross the river without getting wet. Success is measured by your arrival on the other side, not on how muddy your shoes are. Regrets are felt by those who do not understand life's purpose. They become so disillusioned that they stand still in the river and do not take the next leap."

           Let me just start this off by saying I am FULLY team Ren okay? 

I recognize that some people are all for love triangles but I for one am NOT one of those people. But hey, I throughly enjoyed the first two books so why not? Allow me to tell you why not.

Kelsey, dumb ass KELSEY, spent the entire book playing both sides of the field. Seriously, she was adamant about choosing Kishan because he’s the “safer option” which, girl is problematic in itself but whatever. But would consistently let Ren kiss all over her??? And act like she was helpless to stop him? Sis grow a backbone. If you’re going to make a choice MAKE IT. Throughout the entire book she was clearly not happy with her choice being Kishan and not Ren, yet I’m supposed to sit here and root for Kishan?? Now don’t get me wrong, I love Kishan. He’s witty, charming, and funny. But all we see is how ~passionate~ Kelsey is for Ren and how she clearly wants to be with HIM it’s like “ok….than pick him.” But then she’s all like “nooooo I can’t do that to Kishan! Also I’m afraid of sharks :(“ well bitch???

And must we end every book in this series with someone being whisked away? Kelsey goes to Oregon, Ren gets kidnapped by Lokesh, KELSEY gets kidnapped by Lokesh. I mean really.

Well now you’re probably wondering why I gave it three stars. I did enjoy the questing in this book, along with the myths and whatnot. I probably would’ve enjoyed it more if Kelsey didn’t change her mind after every quest about who she wanted to be with.

All and all, the three stars accurately represents how I felt about the book. Was I completely engrossed? No. Did I enjoy it? Yes.

After battling the villanous Lokesh, Kelsey and the Indian princes Ren and Kishan return to India, where Kelsey learns that Ren has amnesia, and five cunning dragons try to keep the trio from breaking the curse that binds them.

Once again beautiful integration of real mythology with fictional storytelling. It satisfied my devils advocate in the love triangle and need for more realism in the relationships. Thrilling and captivating as always.

I really enjoyed this book, I love the building of the relationships between the characters. Although I enjoyed the adventure aspect of it, I found myself reading for the moments with the girl and her tigers.

My review is solidly in the middle and I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a YA romance and adventure series based off of Indian mythology. 

Although the writing is awkward and stilted at times, certain moments are so deep and self-reflective that they almost make up for it.

           THIS BOOK HURT!!!! 
The way Ren treated Kelsey was disgusting, even if he had the best intentions and couldn’t remember her. I hate how he had the audacity to think she’d just break up with kishan for him after all he put her through. Kishan is an angel and it hurts to see Kelsey hurting him. She clearly doesn’t love him as much as she does Ren and she is only hurting kishan more by giving him false promises that she knows she won’t be able to complete. But I completely understand her and her desire to Kishan a chance, he totally deserves it. Lokesh makes everything super uncomfty, he’s disgusting. Overall I loved this book and ate it up. So good!!!

So I started reading this book on September, I had read the others in like 5 days and started this one right off. At the middle of the book I just stopped and started it where I left off this past weekend. The book is very creative and the story is good but I was tired and am tired a little of Kelsey pingpoing between Ren and Kishan, I mean poor guys really. She loves one then the other then Ren Kishan Ren Kishan Kishan Ren, I mean cmmon! it was a little tiring we'll see how the next book goes.

I had bought Tiger's Voyage oh I don't know a few weeks ago, along with Heir of Fire. Now you see my dilemma. Which book, from two series I immensely enjoy, do I read next? Well the ending to the second book in the Tiger's Saga answered my question.

Usually it does not take me this long to read and review a book, I spend hours reading and get much accomplished. It was not because I was too busy, it was the emotions that Tiger's Voyage drove out of me. I do not know how many times I put aside this book because of feeling too mushy or frustrated. Frustration taking the forefront of my emotional drive.

After finishing Tiger's Voyage, I have no idea who's side I am even on. Kelsey is stuck between two men: one that is in love with her but has no memory of it and the other that loves her with a strong passion. Both are handsome, rich, and prince-like men yet how do you choose between the one that has your heart and the other is just a safer and better choice.

Kelsey, has had more than she can bare. She loses the only love she has, and he is off flirting with some other girls! As you all know I enjoy learning about the characters and watching the characters grow. Yet, what upset me - with Kelsey - is that she had this huge internal struggle between Kishan and Ren through the entire book. She was playing both of them, just because she did not know how to choose. I understand this, but to kiss one and than run into the arms of another and than repeat the process over again. Talk about Whiplash!! By the end of Tiger's Voyage I wish that she would make up her mind. She loves both but doesn't know who to choose -- I can choose for you, REN!!!

On top of Kelsey's hard love life, there comes the problem of the prophecy, along with Lokesh lurking in every dark corners of the eart. I loved how the author incorporated dragons into the prophecy, it was perfect in every sense. I loved the background story given by Mr. Kadam (Gotta love that man and his history/mythology). Every time the gang starts a new adventure, I always find myself getting overly excited. These books have so many things going on and I am afraid I will miss a small detail!

Back to this whole Ren, Kishan, and Kelsey issue. While reading this book, you will find that Kelsey and Ren's relationship go deeper than the average love, there is magic involved...but that is all I am going to tell you. Also you will find that all these character's pull stupid stunts to be with one another or just to piss each other off!

Colleen Houck has definitely created a story worth being told. Even the cover's do not do this story justice, because they are quite beautiful! Each character added into Tiger's Voyage always adds to the story and never takes away, and there are quite a few interesting characters that are added. Could have I done a little less with the relationship drama. Absolutely, I understand it was needed but I also felt if was a little overdone. Also Mr. Kadam likes to tell a lot of stories!!! Like a lot of stories. I know quite of bit of mythology now. I like all of these stories told within the story but I felt sometimes it was just too much. I wanted it to get to the point.

I do recommend this entire series to everyone. Go out and buy it, borrow it, rent it, etc. Because this story will capture you in a way that you won't be able to put this book down until the very end!
