This is my first time reading an Indian themed book, and I enjoyed almost every second of it. The lore and the descriptions of statues were very fascinating. The protagonist is very young, and you can definitely feel that in the book but it didn't distract me too much. In my opinion, the ending was much needed on the romance side and wise. Highly recommend.

The most realistic fantasy love series out here. And one of those books that teaches you about the culture that it’s placed in which I always love. Truly a romance for the ages 🥰

The story-line of this book was so amazing. It was really unique and had great depth. I loved the idea of a normal girl who becomes involved in a curse and a boy who the curse was based on. The characters were amazing and the flow was great. I loved the back and forth battle and the way the story ends up playing out.

Kelsey was an amazing character that under-valued herself. It actually irritated me when she gave up something great because she didn’t believe that she was beautiful and smart enough to keep it. Yet her giving and kind-hearted nature balanced it out and made you want her to realize her true value. I loved the story from her point of view and appreciated her her personality and view point.

Ren was such an amazing character and I loved his emotions and thoughts that he presented throughout the book. He was very charismatic and I loved the way he expressed and held himself. It was easy to see that he really liked Kelsey and I loved to read about their interactions and conversations.

Overall this book was amazing and I love to read and re-read it. It’s definitely one of my favorites and I can’t wait until Colleen Houk comes out with her new series! I will be keeping an eye out for it on b&n.

I really liked this book. It has an original and creative story. Although it doesn't get 5 stars and almost didn't get 4 because of some stuff.
Sometimes some conversations between kelsey and Kadam annoyed me. I mean Indian culture is really interesting and contributes with the story but sometimes I found myself skipping paragraphs till I got to the action.
Kelsey's attitude towards Ren at times tired me. I mean I completely got her point and maybe I would have reached a similar decision but it just annoyed me the conviction in which she talked to herself about him I was like aww cut him some slack! But now that I think about it, it was right, just that she went a little bit too far.
I loved that they had to go through several challenges to partially lift the curse it was quite entertaining. That much action, adventure, romance and drama was really nice, a really good combination. 
I sense something with Kishan, although I don't think kelsey would go that far, him and Ren are brothers after all. 
I'm off to the next book!

Kelsey agrees and finds herself on the adventure of a lifetime in India. The tiger is really an Indian prince named Ren who has a curse on him that makes him a tiger for part of the day. Kelsey and Ren fall in love as they delve into Indian mythology and begin a quest to break the curse. Hauck creates a wonderful love story and adds depth by intertwining Indian mythology into the story. A superior story that pulls at the heartstrings with unique twists and atmosphere.

Naive, stupid, with such an annoying MC, I almost wanted to burn this. Insta-love, too trashy and "dramatic". PERFECT male character. I mean, is there anything HE can't do/learn to do perfectly? He's also romantic and so amazingly handsome author needed to remind us about it every... 40(?) pages. 
Yes, we know, his sapphire eyes and beautiful face. Yeah, I got it.

Don't read it, 'cause the idea was brilliant, so you will go mad by how it was destroyed.

It was amazing, i really liked the Indian setting, but it got boring at times, sometimes I found myself skipping some paragraphs about things hat I wasn't really interested about. I also liked the romance between Dhiren and Kelsey, it wasn't insta-love exactly, it took it's time to develop, and even though Kelsey left me completely frustrated at the end, I enjoyed it. BOOK TWO PEOPLE!
