He already booked next month's flight to Melbourne. I open up Pinterest, wondering how Melbourne looks. As I scroll through some posts while intermittently taking sips of wine, I click on one labeled Bucket List.

Her words fill me up with hope I didn't think was possible.

"If you decide not to get close to others, that's your choice. I'll keep living my life with the bits and pieces you share. But the real question is, can you live with your ruse for the rest of your life? If you can, then you're the most beautiful liar I know because the prettiest lies are the ones we tell ourselves."

One word sobers me because her eyes tell me she needs more time. She likes our friendship, and shit, I do too.

I didn't think I would. When she turned me down in Barcelona, I wasn't sure I could be her friend.

The idea made me nauseous, reminding me of memories I wanted to keep hidden forever. But the more time I spend around Sophie, the more addicted I get.

's impossible to ignore the pull I have toward her, both physically and emotionally, something I thought was long gone from my life. She pushes me in every way and meets me stride for stride. And fuck if my relationship with her doesn't terrify me as much as it excites me.

It's laughable how months ago I was scared to have her as anything more than a hookup.

I didn't want to open myself up to another friendship like I had with Johanna, but with Sophie everything feels so damn easy.

She dug her heels in and took up a spot in my life, not giving me a chance to push her away despite my creeping anxiety at becoming dependent on her.

"I want to be friends. Just friends." Words pour from my mouth as defenses get thrown up left and right, protecting me from the one person I can't control.

Liam hits me with a pained look, his eyes wide as they flash with, an unknown emotion. His body stills as he catches his breath.

He remembers how I told him he had two talents three years ago?

His attention to detail catches me off guard. Enough so, that Liam surprisingly tugs me into his body as one of his hands wraps around the base of my neck.

"See you later, Maya. And Noah, grow a pair or drop the grumpy attitude." I throw them a peace sign for good effort, hoping to send some positive Ghandi vibes their way.

The car ride back with Noah and Maya is filled with sexual tension, with me unable to escape them since my body is wedged between them.

"You think I'm perfect?" I put down my menu and stare into his eyes.

His bright smile hits me straight in the chest, my heartbeat quickening while blood rushes toward my cheeks.

"More like someone sent from the gates of heaven to tempt me," he grumbles under his breath, low enough for only me to hear.

"I have an idea. But hear me out first before you say no."

Maya's words do little to relax me despite her soothing voice.

I look into her warm eyes. "That's what they say in every bad seriel killer movie. No question about it, you'd be the first to die. The pretty ones always go first."

My heart would break every time I find him checking... i want to give him a hug

I'd say my dad has undisclosed abandonment issues. Every time I talk to my mom - a rare occasion as it is - he checks that I don't want to book my next flight away from him.

I could not witness that as a child omg seeing women flirt with my dad would irritate me so much

My dad can be described as anything but old and frumpy, unfortunately for me because he's single, and the ladies do sure try to mingle. Women flock toward him like his aura says money and good times.

"You're no princess. You're a motherfucking queen. Don't let anyone forget it, not even yourself. People think the king matters, but the queen brings down all the other pieces."

"I like to read at least a chapter of a book every night before going to bed. It's a tradition I've had since childhood that I still keep, despite my busy schedule." He says his admission like a dirty secret, something contrasting against him athletic image. Somehow it makes him sexier.

"What's your favorite book?" Doubt colors my voice.

"If you have a favorite, I don't trust you. Any book lover has at least five they can name off the top of their head." His blue eyed hold mine.

Oh, wow. This guy actually likes reading.

Every time I see this highlight I become more and more annoyed with this quote.

What is wrong with being basic? There is a reason why something is popular hence basic.

Also that she says bitch in a way I KNOW that she doesn't use this word in a not negative way (like when talking to a friend) makes me not want to like her. She seems like a mean girl who bullies other women just because they like what the majority likes.

Bringing other women down is just not it, sorry not sorry.

I choose different themes for each person because I'm not a basic bitch.

People describe heartbreak as this instantaneous feeling where heart breaks into a million irreparable pieces, scattering in different directions. Some pieces go missing while others stab you in the foot as you clean up the mess. Heartbreak is a ruthless fucker like that, kicking you while you're already down. I think those people who describe heartbreak are liars. Every single one of them who talk about a shattering experience, like you can fix a heart with Superglue and willpower. I can safely say heartbreak feels dull and hollow, leaving behind nothing but a husk of an organ. A broken, mangled weight inside of me, clenching and unclenching at the words Liam shares throughout the night. The glances he takes at my body, the feeling of his hands touching me, the way he sets me on ire from a single caress. His actions cut out parts of myheart. with a rusty serrated knife.

I love him from his head to his toes. For his quick wit, boyish charm, and back scratches in the middle of the night. Our story fits a tragedy. It's ironic how, while exploring myself and learning who I am, I discovered someone else who brought out the absolute best and the downright worst in me. Falling in love is ugly like that. And damn if ours turns out to be the ugliest of them all.

“You're so beautiful." His simple sentence means the world to me. And it scares me to death, the way his words wrap around my heart and grip onto me.

"Are you a possessıve type?” My voice croaks as his fingers grip my waist tightly. "With you? Yes."

pls i was not expecting this to be this good bc i saw a lot of negative reaction to liamsophie but actually i really liked them, they probably will not be my fav couple on the series but they weren't bad, they were funny and lighthearted i liked them really

I really like how Liam was written and how he was to Sophie it had me smiling and curling my toes. Even though I was really mad at him sometimes but he redeemed himself. But don't get me started on Sophie I love her so much and I could relate to her. They had such good chemistry and the build up from friends to lovers was immaculate. But I shouldn't be surprise because Lauren Asher doesn't miss. I loved their friendship and that they was friends first because it resonated with Sophies character. 

It had the tension, angst, chemistry, and smut that we all want from spot romances. I loved the aspect that Sophies dad works for the rival team and that Liam is the F1 very own playboy. But the beginning had me sobbing and why did it have to be so sad but it only gave the book more depth and gave me a deeper connection with Liam. And don't even get me started on the epilogue, it was amazing and had me smiling like and idiot. Safe to say I love this series and how Lauren Asher writes.

oh man. I will say I was super pumped to read this after throttled cause I LOVED maya and noah’s story and I loved the glimpses we got of sophie and liam in throttled. lauren asher always does a great job in introducing her characters that are in the following book in the book prior, if that makes sense (we got great glimpses of jax and elena in collided and they are the leads of wrecked). collided made me feel all the feels when sophie and liam’s lines as friends started to blur due to their attraction to each other (simply cause I’ve been through this and it made me nostalgic). when they ended up in a fwb relationship, I just knew it wouldn’t end well. we all know this, fwb relationships hardly ever end in the way we would like for them to (even though this trope has a soft spot in my heart for how predictable it is). but that’s when the angst hits you like a freight train, everything started tumbling for both sophie and liam and I was just fucking shocked. I just had to finish the book once things started spiraling and I’m glad I did. I’m also glad that lauren asher gave sophie and liam supportive families, it was refreshing after having read declan, rowan, and noah’s parent issues lol. when liam comes back to win sophie over, his new list made me so emo I was tearing up. as the rest of the book came to an end, I was feeling so warm and gushy inside. the extended epilogue of sophie’s pov being 14 years later made me SO happy. the fact that sophie and liam had twins, they share a backyard with maya and noah, AND maya and noah’s son, marko, has a crush on sophie and liam’s daughter, stella?! god my heart is won the fuck over. I am so fucking excited to read jax’s story next, this whole formula one world that lauren asher has created has me in a deep hole. I’m going to be so sad when I’m done with the entire series.

I cannot explain how much I have fallen in love with Lauren Asher’s writing. She is easily my top author currently. This is my fourth book I’ve read (more like binged) by her, and they keep getting better each time! I will say the beginning of this book wasn’t nearly as good as the beginning of throttled, but the ending makes every bit of it worth it! The angst hit me like a wall (iykyk😉) and KEPT COMING. I loved all the twists she threw in last minute even though I had a feeling what some would be. I am so excited to read wrecked next to see how it plays out. I really like how each of these books are taking place in the same/similar time frame and same universe. It’s like you’re getting all the povs from each moment! Highly highly recommend this book and this whole freaking series!!

L’aspect F1 était toujours là mais présenté sous un autre angle, on a avait plus accès aux coulisses, les négociations de contrats, le contrôle de l’image, les galas, les dramas ect… et c’était hyper interessant ! 
J’ai vraiment adoré ce tome et j’ai hâte de lire la suite !!!

Omg 5/5 this book was amazing I love the friends to lovers and how they got closer to each other over time. This book had me hooked from the start, I loved the dynamic between the two. Sophie literally is so funny with the biggest heart and no filter, and Liam being hot and arrogant(in a good way)but at the same time cute especially around Sophie they both stole my heart. You also get to see their relationships with other characters in the series and how they interact with the main characters. can’t  belive i was way more hooked and I wanted to keep reading. Liam Zander has my heart such a sweet soul <33 Sophie was a pleasant character too a fresh character to be paired with Liam. She got his vulnerability back and I’m so grateful for her.  I’m so glad with this book and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of series⚡️🏎

Omg wow. I can not express how much I loved reading this book. When I started the series I had heard so much about Throttled that made me think that Collided wasn't gonna be (as) good but boy was I wrong. 
In the first book you don't really get to know the characters and you don't think much about them but let me tell you...I absolutely fell in love with Liam and Sophie's characters (yes even more than Noah and Maya) 
There wasn't a part of the book that I didn't like and don't even get me started on the epilogue and bonus chapter. Just incredible, can't wait to start on Jax's book.

The book itself wasn’t bad. The storyline had potential and over all I enjoyed reading it. To me what icked me and made me give it between 3,5 and 4 stars was how it annoyed me how some of the formula 1 things weren’t that accurate and still as with the first book the word prix instead of GP or something but tbh that can be just me and I don’t write off the author for that. This series is just not for me probably since I’m very much into the sport itself and things that aren’t that accurate can annoy me very quickly. I do recommend this series to everyone who doesn’t know a lot about Formula 1 and who maybe want to get into it in a fun way or just want a fun sports romance. :)

I loved this book, but not as much as the first one. I just didn’t fall in love with the characters as much as I did with Noah and Maya. 

I was crying within the first 30 pages of this book because of the whole Johanna situation. I know the rest of the season is going to be emotional and I don’t know if I’m ready. I was living for the ‘fuck it list’, it’s so iconic. I would also like to cross some of the things off that list😏🤣 

Liam was a secret nerd and I loved it. Also, his dirty talk!🔥 There was some serious sexual tension between Liam and Sophie and I really enjoyed their relationship. 

The ending and the extended epilogue were perfect. It was everything I wanted for them. I need a spin off with Stella and Marko asap!!
