2⭐️ This was definitely something I was not waiting for and I didn't like it that much. Santino was really not it for me. I wish I could've seen more of Anna as an individual and not just drooling over Santino. And also, what was his addiction with married woman? Anyways, I was not a big of this, neither was a fan of Dante and Val's books but their chapters here were the best. If anything, this book just made me really curious about Leonas book!
Es un libro X, es entretenido pero no memorable. Realmente lo único que puedo rescatar es lo maravillosos padres que son Val y Dante🛐 Valentina reina de mi corazón que madre más maravillosa, disfruté tanto ver lo mucho que apoya y ama a sus hijos. Dante casi no tuvo participaciones en comparación con Val pero los momentos que tuvo fueron fuertes e importantes, me da mucho orgullo ver cómo siempre sin importar que suceda da todo por su familia❤️ DANTEVALENTINA CAVALLARO SUPREMACY 🛐 Otro personaje que puedo rescatar es Leonas así el final se le vio más madurez y me intriga mucho su elección de esposa, sin duda disfruté mucho la hermandad que tiene con Anna🫶🏼 Y ya Anna y Santino fueron muy X para mí, me gustaron más en el último 20% pero en lo demás me costó un montón conectar con ellos y me decepciona mucho porque realmente tenía muchas expectativas. Otra cosa que no me gustó fueron los saltos en el tiempo.
4 stars ☆ four solid stars for me. this book was more enjoyable than the first two parts. i still think of dante as the weaker capo but i admire his love for his family and how supportive he was of anna and santino. i would have liked an epilogue as husband and wife but it was okay.
wbk cora’s a freak and will always be a freak. i need her to stop writing age gaps bc she never pulls it off correctly 🤷🏻♀️ always has to go and make it weird. being generous and giving it 3 stars bc the last 10ish chapters were kinda good. annasantino post paris actually had me rooting for them bc by then anna had grown up a little and matured and santino had stopped being a whore. and the near death trope kinda hit sawry. also danteval were good parents idc they handled everything pretty well and didn’t get on my nerves like lucaria in marcella’s books. and leonas <3 !! <3 !! praying cora can manage to write a semi decent book for amogreta next but i’m not getting my hopes up
First things first, I was sent an arc by the author in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. Where do I even start with this review. This was such a let down. I have been disappointed in the last 3-5 releases from Mrs. Reilly but this takes the cake. From the unconvincing romance (or lack there of) to the annoying characters and then the almost grooming relationship between the H & h, this book fell flat. This was more of a lust book than a romance book. The dynamic between the H & h was annoying and I honestly was rooting more for the potential second love interest then the main H. It’s also apparent that Mrs. Reilly can only write the same book with very minor differences. And honestly I am vey tired of this author using infidelity/adulatory as a plot device in her romances. Our h wasn’t relatable or likable. She was immature but constantly wanted to prove how “mature” she was. The H was an ahole who really just took advantage of the situations he was put in. The H & h lacked chemistry, there for is wasn’t very believable. The secrets and drama? Boring. I just couldn’t find a reason to connect or care about this story. With that being said I’m pretty much done with these books. Would I recommend reading this? Not really, but if you really want to I guess try it? 1/5⭐️
A standalone mafia bodyguard romance. Anna wants one thing and that is to become a fashion designer. Her parents tried to set her up perfectly with an arranged marriage outside of the mafia but there was no spark for her there like there was with her bodyguard, Santino. Santino has been Annas’ bodyguard for a long time but always envisioned himself as an enforcer. Anna tries to seduce Santino until he finally snaps and disobeys his Capo. This book doesn’t have much of the “mafia” feel like the other books in the series do. I also felt there was no chemistry between Anna and Santino where I was pushing for them to be together. The book was really well written though and despite everything, I still couldn’t put the book down.
