apart from adamodinara being boring af they probably stink too ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ dinaraโs tied with gemma for worst cora fmc. the not like other girls attitude was not hot and then downplaying kiaraโs trauma/abuse bc it โwasnโt as badโ as hers ?? not hot.

When I heard Adamo was getting his own book I was beyond excited! Heโs definitely a brother I was really intrigued by and wanted to see his POV as an adult and growing up with the Camorra. This book showed us an adult Adamo which had some character growth. We get to see his POV on Camorra life, his opinions on how things are run, and his relationship with his brothers. We get insight on his love of race car driving and his trauma from his past. We also get introduced to our first ever Russian Bravata character! Dinara is definitely a different type of love interest from our previous female characters. She is outspoken and not very sheltered. I think she contrasted well with Adamo. I felt like we got to understand Adamo more and see a different side of the brothers. I enjoyed Twisted Cravings but it was a little insta lust and some things like the *cough* CJ scene *cough* werent needed. I also wanted more on Dinara. I didnโt feel very connected with her because I didnโt know much. I also want more of Adamo with his family, because it felt a little disconnected from the previous books. Overall, I had fun reading it and canโt wait for a book with Nevio or Gretas POV! 3.75/5โญ๏ธ *ARC Provided by author in exchange for an honest review*

I was really excited for Adamoโs book but this was such a letdown.

1,5โญ๏ธ What the heck happened in this book? I was so excited to read more of Adamo's story and wanted to see how his love life would be, but this was just bad. First we have a "I'm not like other girls" girl. And even though Dinara was different than the most girls around them, she was annoying most of the time. Then, when you think it's bad that the mc is annoying you, there are scenes with CJ that just make you... wtf. When things are finally showing more plot, when you're finally learning about their past, everything is ruined by physical interaction. And don't get me wrong, I like when there are spicy scenes in books, but their entire relationship felt like a physical attraction rather than emotional connection. And even as the book goes by, I still feel this. Sadly, instead of a mafia romance, this sounded more like a fast and furious book. I thought Savio's book could've been much better, but this... It's a disappointment, especially when you build your expectations on the first books of the series.

I wanted to be more attached to these two like I was with all the other Camorra Chronicle books, but I still enjoyed their story! And I loved that Dinara had a good backbone ๐ฅณ.

i guess iโm glad i can say i read it ๐

what a fucking disappointing end to this series. first off, this wasn't adamo's book, it was dinara's. and while i liked her character, getting to know her backstory and her character development, i went into twisted cravings with a completely different set of expectations that were not met. what's funny about this is that cora reilly had us read the same scene (serafina's kidnapping and adamo's kidnapping and subsequent torturing) like 10 times from literally any character POV that she could think of, except for the only one that mattered, adamo's, the other victim's POV. so thank you cora for not even giving us the only thing that we were looking for, great job for doing nothing well. i also felt like this book did a retconning of adamo's charater that was laughable at best. you are gonna tell me that the whole point of adamo not wanting to be a camorrista, of him hating remo and his bloodlust, and of wanting nothing to do with the made life was because he... wanted it too much?? he craved it even worse than remo? seriously?? are you fucking kidding me cora? that's got to be the biggest bullshit i read in this book. it came out of nowhere, it didn't make any sense, it just felt like a last minute decision and a lame attempt to make adamo's character 'edgy' and 'brooding', which was literally unnecessary since she had many different interesting plot points to focus on that involved adamo (his kidnapping and torture, his drug addiction, his dealing with his mother's killing, his time in NY with luca working his way up from the bottom as a nobody) that NEEDED development, but again, she didn't deliver. and now i need to RANT about some things that literally disgusted me. โ nino and remo keeping the CDs with child pornography, and WATCHING THEM, as if it was any of their business?? and not dinara's and her father's, most importantly, since she was just a kid at that time. they should have handed those CDs to dinara's father when he went to pick her up and take her home. why would they keep those CDs and even worse, watch them when they had no fucking right to do so? it was disgusting that even after that, they went on and put one of those tapes for adamo to watch. AGAIN VIOLATING DINARA'S RIGHT TO CHOOSE ON HER OWN GODDAMNED VIDEOS THAT WERE TAKEN WITHOUT HER CONSENT. what the fuck is wrong with you cora? โ and having remo fuck dinara's mother after knowing she was a whole ass child abuser/enabler? she literally pimped her own daughter of 8 years old and remo couldn't have gotten another whore to fuck? cora had to make remo fuck her, really? absolutely disgusting. it just gave me the impression that cora came up with this eden storyline out of her ass for this last book, it was never planned from the beginning in the books where remo used to fuck her, because that is 100% something remo would have never done, knowing what he did about eden. so again, the lack of planning and OOC issues and just overall retconning everything from previous books was unbearable. like i said, this was disappointing as a closing point to the series. and it didn't matter that i liked dinara and the overall revenge/hunt plotline, because i just wanted more from adamo who was basically a side character in what was supposed to be his book. we didn't get any development from him, on how he coped with having been tortured by the enemy, on his drug addiction, just a bunch of nothing. and their relationship was so rushed they were already together by 30% of the book which made me so uncaring about it and the car racing plotline. i don't know, i expected something different from this and i didn't get it. i'm happy i'm done with the series, and i don't know if i'll ever pick up the spin-off for the next gen if it's going to be about more of the same, i guess we'll see what she plans to do for those books.

โyou arenโt his victim. you will be his judge.โ so worth the wait. dinaras past is definitely not an easy topic to stomach but it was such a good read. the only thing i would have wished for is for them to be enemies for a little longer and really develop feelings over time instead of getting it on pretty much right away, but i loved it nevertheless.
