Help Me Remember
Reviews

After Brielle Davis wakes up in the hospital, she realizes that her memories of the last three years are gone, and her brother, Isaac is dead. The only chance the prosecutor has of making a case against her brother's killer is if Bri remembers what happened that day. Isaac's three best friends, Holden, Emmett, and Spencer are there to help her, but it is Spencer, the investigative reporter, who volunteers to help Bri retrace her past. The more time she spends with Spencer, the more she feels that the crush she has always had on Spencer could be more than that now.
Help Me Remember is a good amnesia story, offering lots of clues and suspects that may have played a part in the incident in which her brother was killed. The character banter is fun and there is lots of enjoyable angst. However, the ending is a bit contrived and comes out of left field with a build up that lasts for only a couple of the concluding chapters, but it does wrap up the story satisfactorily. Overall, Help Me Remember is a solid read.

There is nothing like a Corinne Michaels book! I’m telling you! As a long time reader of hers, I can always say her books give me all the feels! There is just something special about her writing and her ability to tell a story. They just suck you right in and it’s where it’s at, if you ask me! Help Me Remember follows the story of Spencer and Brielle! Gah, this story ripped my heart out. And I’ll just start by saying this… books hardly ever surprise me anymore but this one did. Like there were times I was utterly shocked because I didn’t see it coming! Brielle has lost her memory in some kind of accident and is the only witness to her brothers murder. But problem is, she can’t remember the last three years of her life. And no one can tell her anything about her life because it could ruin the case to solve her brothers murder. It’s. Just. So. Good. There really aren’t enough words to describe how I feel about this amazing story! It’s filled with suspense, angst, drama, romance, steam, brothers best friend, older guy, and all the feels! It’s just the perfect read!
