Anyone can design a con that he himself can't think of a way to beat. That doesn't mean he's built a system that works. It just means he's built a system that works on people stupider than he is.

My first instinct was to give this 3.5/5: Red Team Blues is a fast paced and fun read. Doubly so if you're a jaded comp sci graduate! You'll find yourself nodding along as you follows Marty's narration. 

I most likely expected more from the book, hence the initial score. However, it has given me a few well sculpted lines that I intend to use for a while, hence the 4* rating. 

Overall, Cory Doctorow weaves an interesting tale that leaves you wanting to turn the pages. Definitely worth a read!
