Still trying to improve my understanding (and quite frankly my ability to read) postmodernist literature. Overall it was an interesting approach to sci-fi (maybe more appropriate to say ‘science-driven fiction’?) with some short stories I thoroughly enjoyed (Distance of the Moon, Without Colors, Aquatic Uncle). Others were just fine – interesting concepts but overall didn’t wow me. Regardless the content of the piece, I can easily say though that Calvino descriptions and imagery are next to none.

Ce qui ne l'empêche pas d'avoir les aventures les plus quotidiennes, depuis le jeu de billes sur la courbure de l'espace jusqu'à la poursuite des parallèles pour rejoindre une plaisante demoiselle, ou jusqu'au tracé du premier signe dans le vide, au bord d'une galaxie.
