Prince of Hearts is a good beginning to the Verona Legacy Series. Ari is a girl who has been sheltered her entire life and it quite naive but she grows a backbone by the end of this book while Nico is a tortured soul who has no choice but to accept his legacy and destiny. Nico and Ari’s love story is quite sweet, however I has issues connecting with their insta-love. Their star-crossed plot on the other hand was executed perfectly. I am eagerly looking forward to the conclusion of their story in King of Souls especially with that ending and hoping we might get books with some other side characters as well.

For someone who disliked Romeo and Juliet retellings, I greatly enjoyed this story. I loved Ari and Nicco from the beginning and I couldn't put it down! 

I love dark mafia romance books and this hit all the marks! 

Ari is 100% my favorite part of this story and I can't wait to find out the ending to their story. 
The Rixon Raiders series is my favorite from LA Cotton but oh my god, this book almost took first place! This book makes me want to give Romeo and Juliet retellings another try but I'm pretty sure none of them will even get anywhere near Prince of Hearts.
 
I'm not really sure how to get all my feelings about this book across without any spoilers but I love this book and I am so excited for the conclusion!

           Lo único que se me ha quedado como incompleto es que no se desarrolló bien un tema muy denso que ocurre casi al final, fue algo muy muy grande y traumático. Esperaba otra tipo de reacción (una reacción más humana).
