Ich habe nicht mal angefangen. »Warum bist du so unhöflich zu allen ...« »Warum stellst du so viele Fragen, kleines Steinmädchen?«, entgegnet er. »Für ein Stück Fels bist du mal ganz gewiss sehr neu- gierig.« »Ein Stück Fels?«, wiederholt Jaxon und er klingt in meinem Namen empört. »Was zur Hölle...« »Klappe, Goth-Boy. Niemand will dir zuhören und niemand hat Zeit für einen deiner Wutanfälle.«

»Genug geredet.« Jikan hält seine Uhr hoch. »Hier ist eine Idee: Warum schlagen wir nicht zwei Fragen mit einer Klappe?« »Ich glaube, es heißt Fliege«, sagt Flint. Jikan wendet sich ihm mit über die Ränder seiner Sonnenbrille hochgezogenen Brauen zu. »Entschuldige bitte?« »Das Sprichwort«, erklät Flint und ich muss es ihm lassen, er zuckt keinen Zentimeter zurück, obwohl er im Fokus von Jikans sehr Furcht einflößendem finsteren Blick steht. »Es heißt, zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe schlagen, nicht zwei Fragen.« »Natürlich ist es ein Drache, der denkt, wir sollten zwei Fliegen töten. Das ist eure Antwort auf alles. Obwohl ich nicht weiß, was ihr gegen diese armen Kreaturen habt. Sie sind recht majestätisch, wenn man darüber nachdenkt.«

It’s only slightly unsettling that the Bloodletter and my mate respond at exactly the same time with, “That’s my girl.”

“But I’m not asking this because I want you to save the world. I’m asking this because I want you to save me.”

“I’m two hundred years old and rich as fuck, Grace.” His tone is droll as he pulls a pair of sunglasses out of his jacket pocket and slides them on just as rays from the early-morning sun hits the edges of the courtyard. “Occasionally, it has its perks.”

“That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to find a better choice,” Flint tells her. “Just going along because we’re scared of what might happen isn’t an answer. Or, at least, it’s not a good answer.”

Again, not the best written book ever literary speaking but I just love this series and this plot. It’s such a fun little fantasy world and it isn’t too complicated for my pea brain and I love the characters and the romance in it.

this one was so much harder to get through bc the plot dragged and felt unnecessarily convoluted with remy coming in as a deus ex machina savior and then the whole thing with the gargoyles coming back, like chastain was so correct she really did not deserve their help and they are too good for her when she is kinda whiny about being queen… still, entertaining, probably will read the rest, love hudson (she doesn’t deserve how good he is), and just a bit of trashy fun!

Well... this was... pure torture... in the worst way possible. For f*** sake, I just created a shelf "never again" for this book... I HAVE NEVER READ A BOOK WITH SO MANY REPETITIVE AND UNNECESSARY DETAILS!!!! AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MORE ANNOYING MAIN CHARACTER. GRACE IS THE MOST ANNOYING, WHINING, AND HALF-BRAIN LITTLE BRAT!!!!!! 

2 stars are a lot!!!!

The action was mingled with Grace's non-stopping talking brain. Her monologues are a punishment to the readers. The trials, both fighting sequences with Cyrus... every big action scene is clouded by the enormous description of Grace's thinking... WTF!!!!!! I get in the action, then get out because I'm in her head, then again in action, then again in her head, and so on... I couldn't even enjoy the action scenes. Everything that I would normally enjoy is thrown around and mixed with inconsistent details... Grace's brain is in a self-battle of repetitive thoughts and feelings. Seven hells...

SHE DOESN'T DESERVE HUDSON OR ANY OF HER FRIENDS! Hudson puts his heart on a plate for her, every feeling, every thought, every dark thought, and what is she doing???? She "burst out laughing". "Yeah, right. I thought you were actually going to say something serious." This is her response. This is the first scene where I just had enough of her. I never thought I could read a book that gets so angry that I question the author's brain!!!!! Yes, everybody will get at me and say I'm a douche and I use hate speech. This is not hate speech. This is what I felt while reading this book. I mean, she's the main character and this book is 1st person. I DON'T WANT TO EVER LIVE IN GRACE'S HEAD EVER AGAIN!!!!! 

The second time I wanted to murder Grace, is when the skeleton fight occurred. You know what's happening to YOUR MATE, you know what he's going through, and you literally put him to use his powers that eat up his soul. 

I did not hold it against Chastain, at all!!! Everything he told her, she deserved it. 

The whole book she's whining and doesn't understand why the Army isn't following her, and in the last battle when she's finally letting go and embraces her powers, all I see is "I'm the queen", and "As your queen". Give me a break. Grace is nowhere near being a Queen. Izzy is better written than Grace... Oh, and another thing. ALL THE DEATHS IN THIS BOOK ARE ON GRACE'S HEAD AND HANDS! NOBODY CAN CHANGE MY MIND!

I'm not going to even talk about all the obvious facts that somehow, the characters are shocked to find out... The main one is that the Bloodletter is Cassia... duaaaah!!! She just told you she's the God of Chaos [and you already know from the previous book part of the story of those two sisters] and you are shocked to hear her being called Cassia????!!!!???!!!! Fine, I know Grace doesn't have any brains, BUT Hudson and Jaxon are being shocked????? You just made them stupid!!!

The ONLY reason I kept reading this book is "Charm". I understand it's dual pov and I want to know what happened in those missing months. Especially Hudson's side of the story. But right now I'm having a hard time convincing myself that "I can do this". As for "Cherish"... I'm done with this series. For all "Twilight" fans, this series is for you. I'm not a fan of the "Twilight" series, and I seriously as hell am not a fan of "Crave" series. Even if the previous book had 4 and 5 stars, with this one... my patience has gone to the toilet! I'm done with it. "Charm" is the last one. 

Oh, and one other thing! "Young Adult books" doesn't mean the characters have to be teens, because obviously, in this book, the bloody main character wants to be mature, but she's nowhere near mature. And her choices are very questionable. SHE DOESN'T DESERVE HER MATE OR HER FRIENDS!

For this to be a 900-something page book, and then for me to not get invested into it until probably the 600-650 page mark… it just hurt my brain, especially since the las two I was so invested in. 

There were a lot of things that felt like filler, especially near the beginning, and it just made it hard to read. I’m glad I kept on it though because the last portion of the book really brought some needed resolution, while also leading into a good teaser of ✨what’s next✨

I will say that this one was still better than the first by far, but not as good as the 2nd & 3rd. I might give myself a break before picking up the fifth one though to see if the back-to-back-to-back just wore me out a little bit before tackling this big ol’book.

           I was not ready to love this series.
Tracy is excellent and I love her so it’s no shade to her but the first book was very difficult to get through. There was A LOT of angst. But I am sooo glad I stuck it out. There’s definitely some cheese and cringe, even in this book, but the adventure was so worth it. Following along as Grace and the group become such bad ass people was satisfying.
I cried. Big, fat tears when Calder died. The Order being basically wiped out was heartbreaking, but not like when Calder died. I had goosebumps. Remy’s scream? Ugh, chills.
I do have to say though, Grace is so fucking dense it actually made me angry. It took her sooo long to see that the Bloodletter was related to her. Especially when Alistar made that comment about his mate biting her?? And then she connected the dots that her green string was tied to the Bloodletter but didn’t guess why?? The time god guy was also super strange and almost felt pointless but oh well.
Grace and Hudson are one of my favorite fictional couples. When she finally realized that their “four months” was more like 2 years! Ahhh! I’m so excited to read about that in the next book. I love how supportive and loving Hudson is. Grace is a badass and he doesn’t smother her, it’s so refreshing.
Remy is also a book crush. That man is fine, and I hope they touch more on his relationship with Izzy. I’m sure they’re mated. Speaking of Izzy, it also took Grace fucking forever to figure out that Izzy’s mom HAD to be the crone. How was that not the first guess when she found out Izzy is a demigod? I’m looking forward to seeing if there’s more development between Izzy and the Crone though. 
Chastain made me so angry. I almost don’t forgive him, even after the ending. His treatment of Grace was gross and I hated every second of it. 
I can’t wait for the next 2 books. I’m dying to find out what happened in those “4 months” as well as what’s going to happen with the shadow queen and Mekhi. I hope he doesn’t die. Poor Jaxon if he does. I’m also hoping we see more of Jaxon and Flint together. They’re a cute couple.

There’s no guarantee that anyone will be left standing when the dust settles, but if we want to save this world, I have no choice. I’ll have to embrace every part of me...even the parts I fear the most. Don’t miss a single book in the series that spawned a phenomenon!            I loved the main plot points and character development of this book. However, there was just SO. MUCH. FILLER. Most of which was extremely unnecessary and honestly kind of boring. This is not my favorite book in the series, but I did genuinely enjoy a lot of it, and I’m still very excited to read the next one.

I literally ignored all responsibilities today because I couldn’t put this book down. Tracy - you did it again. Now time to reread from book one to book four over and over until the next one is out.

Never been more surprised by how a series turns around - I really enjoy this story after hating the first. One think I will say is it went on too long. And the Hudson chapters were completely unnecessary. I really fun series though.

This book took me on a roller coaster. Let me say, I get so frustrated with all the decisions Grace makes. I keep yelling at her for being dumb, but I also know she is doing the right thing. The impossible battles also drive me crazy. However, Grace gets so badass in this book and the surprises are great (although I’d guessed a few already). Highly recommend!

A fast-paced and satisfying read for fans of the series. I really appreciated the attention and time dedicated to acknowledging the mental impact and trauma a lot of the characters have faced, from their childhoods to current events. An element that is often unacknowledged in a lot of fantasy series. I was thrilled to see some of my predications come true and some plot twists were completely unexpected. All my questions leading up to Court were certainly answered, and the addition of some interesting new characters has left me excited for the conclusion of the series. Court has all the elements that fans of the Crave series has been waiting for: witty banter, tears, and gasps!

This book was so action packed it was ridiculous! Also I’m obsessed with Grace and Hudson. They better be end game. I’m SO excited for the series to continue. I really hope Jaxon finds his mate and I hope it’s Flint. Grace is such a strong resilient character and she is a literal queen! AMAXING JOB TRACY!

OMG! That’s the first thing that comes to mind. My heart broke and it soared as I read this book. I can’t wait for what’s next in this series. I loved how it ended and if only made me love the characters more. Well written and the bonus content was amazing. I love the chapters that are from other characters point of view. They’re so good and honestly I can’t wait for more. Certainly one of my top favorite series! Highly recommended for fans of vampires and the supernatural books and shows. 

1000/10 loved loved LOVED. such a great ending to this book BUT once again left in a cliff hanger lol luckily it’s only a few months until the next book in the series comes out. once again, I have fallen more in love with Hudson Vega.
