Merry Ex-Mas

This book made me so mad. She comes home to find her ex in her childhood bedroom and then when she's upset about it everyone basically tells her that it was 8 years ago that he shattered her heart and changed her whole life trajectory and she should just get over it. And then he literally says "I'm so sorry" and everyone expects that to make it better, including the FMC!!! I could keep ranting. The tone of the book also shifted as time went on, it started as standard contemporary romance, but ended as a hallmark special where the FMC and her professional rival tie and both get the job. Yeah right.
