i hated this. so boring, no substance. everything happened so fast and there wasn't even a smut scene to finish it off

This is a perfect example of “It’s not you, it’s me.” I didn’t realize going into this that it was considered a “kissing only” romance, in fact, I didn’t even know that was a thing. I kept waiting for something more to happen, but it was all very chaste. Which is fine, I don’t need my romances to always be super steamy, but I want them to keep me interested and this just didn’t do it for me. I spent the whole time either bored or annoyed with Poppy’s older sister, who I really didn’t like. If you enjoy clean romances with fake dating, I’d still recommend it because it’s a cute, fluffy time, but it wasn’t my cup of tea.
