This hit me in all the feels!! I definitely cried towards the end of this book and the fact that I now have to wait until February for the next book is heartbreaking!! Such a great story and Grace is such a badass heroine that I really hope the end of this series gives her a happily ever after!!

This series is such a shit show but you better believe I will be sitting front row for the next one.

I enjoyed the direction the romance went in this series. A majority of the negative reviews that differ from mine disagree with that, which is completely fair. I personally don't see that because I never thought what happened in Crave made a ton of sense. It just felt so rushed and chaotic that I never really had a firm belief in it. Love triangle haters, this one might not be for you.

Crush still remains my favorite of the bunch, even with the bizarre triwizard/hot potato tournament. The writing was much better from Crave to Crush, and to my delight, not a single "WTF" or "SEXY AF" was to be found in Covet. The magic system? No clue. Plot? I'm sure we can find one in there somewhere. This is such a convoluted mess, but I am here for it. And by 'it' I mean Hudson. Literally nothing else, because this series makes no sense.

Anyway, see y'all for the fourth book in September lol.

I did not see myself falling in love with this series as much as I have now become. I will say that I am so glad that I decided to keep giving it a shot after reading the first book. A solid mix of sobbing, yelling, and heartbreak paired with heartwarming puzzle pieces being put back together. I feel like the plot twists were never done for shock factor, but they were done in such a way that worked so smoothly with the storytelling. I love the main characters so much and I love seeing who they’re all growing into throughout this series 🥹💓

           Overall I love this series. Hudson is probably my favorite character. I enjoyed the story and the prison was probably my favorite part just because of how cool I thought the Dante’s inferno reference was.
That said, this book was a little bit of a drag compared to the other 2. I felt like there was so much going on from beginning to end that I can’t even remember what happened at the beginning. Grace’s repetitive inner dialogue was driving me nuts, also. She kept having these epiphanies in the middle of conversations, like how she let remembering that Hudson was in love with her and was being very descriptive about that. Over and over and over again. Plus, the interactions with Calder, Remy and the other characters felt so weirdly forced.
I love this series, it’s definitely top 10 for me. But this book was weaker than the others. I’m really excited for the next book, though.

           I finished Covet late last night and it was amazing. From the start it was an emotional roller coaster to the very end. The romance mostly focused on Grace and Hudson, which we learned at the end of Crush they are Mates. It takes many twists in and turns and it was totally worth the read in the end. I can’t wait for Court to come out in November. 

Towards the end of the book Grace finally chooses Hudson after a very long awaited mini war takes place on the island of where the Unkillablebeast is. As the war goes on Grace finds Flint and starts mending him back together, since he got hurt during the war. Flint is just about to die when Jaxson comes from the cave with the internal bite on his neck, Hudson finds him and Jaxon begs Grace to use his power to save Flint. During all of this Flint’s boyfriend, Luca dies. Soon after Grace uses all of Jaxon’s power and he slowly dies. But Nuri, Flint’s mom gives Jaxon her dragon heart as she feels responsible for what has happened, Jaxon comes back and everyone is as happy as you can be when people you love have died. 

Hudson did use his power to turn people into dust, which was shocking. 

There was clearly a whole lot more that did happen that I’m not mentioning but I will say that my favorite chapters are 82 through 86, if you know, you know!

Hudson Vega rivals only Aaron Warner.
They are the unbelievably hottest characters in every book I’ve ever read.
His confidnece contests, his coolness when he’s fighting “good doggy” this man doesn’t break down. His power is insane and just ugh wow. 
First off, so happy I didn’t give up on him in the last book thinking he was a lost cause and my love would go down the drain because I can assure you it’s not. Even if he tears apart everyone I will still love him.
His love for his brother. HIS LOVE FOR GRACE. His pov chapters >>>>>
Anyway enough about the love of my life. 
The book itself wasn’t too spectacular. I think Cyrus has dragged on for way too long but I did enjoy all the side characters especially the old gargoyle.
Can NOT WAIT for what the emerald string is.
And even more so I can’t wait for the book of their 4 months together. Yes I’m excited for the next one in chronological order because yes I’m excited for them to defeat Cyrus but it’s a NEED not a want that I know what happened in those four months.
Anyway I Absoutely love them. I love Hudson’s willingness for her. I love her strength. I love Remy.
I bawled my eyes out for flint and Luca and Jaxson… but everything will be okay.. I hope. Well not for Luca. But already a hed those tears. I do really hope Flint finds someone new I’m so sick of this poor dude’s heart broken. 
Anyway this book was just great, I do wish it was a little shorter. Because of all their growth it has to add a star but I feel like this genuinely could’ve been a .5 until the next book and definitely didn’t need 500 pages but either way I will love and read Grace’s story til the end.
I wanna know what happens to everything I Absoutely can’t wait for the next book.

Another extraordinary long book in Tracy Wolffe’s Crave series, Covet is just what I expected: long, whiney, and addicting. I want to hate these books so badly, but I just can’t seem to stop. Grace is still battling Cyrus, the vampire king while trying to graduate from high school. 
	Pros: 
Hudson- I love Hudson, by far my favorite character and I’m getting real sick of Grace’s wishy washy feelings towards him. 
World building (?) This is kind of a mixed feeling point for me, but the concept of the prison was interesting. 
	Cons: 
Length- So so so so much of this book was Grace’s inner monologue about her feelings. Like yes a lot of terrible stuff has happened to her, but that’s why it’s fiction. She has a right to be upset, but she also tends to get very whiny especially when her love life is involved. 
Deaths- If any major character is in peril, somehow someway they will be saved. But if someone is just dating one of the major characters they’re fair game apparently? 
Predictable pattern - I just think we’re falling into this pattern of well we need to go find this thing/person and go defeat Cyrus and save the world. Then something unexpected happens, but it ends up fine but then as soon as they’re “safe” the next twist happens instantaneously. It makes for exciting and addicting reading, but after a while I don’t care what the next blah blah magical item/person is. 
	I have so many problems with this series, but like I said it is addicting. I’m sure I’ll be picking up the next book from the library or KU, because no way am I purchasing. 3/5 stars for me.

I started reading this several months ago but got too stressed out to keep reading so I stopped and then took a long time to pick it up again, meaning I forgot a lot of what happened. But what I do know is that Grace is very unlikeable in this book.

           I was a little bit disappointed with the first third of the book, which is why I only rated it four stars. It felt kind of slow and forced but after the new york visit, things started to pick up which I greatly appreciated since I love these characters so much and want to see their story through to the end. 
Another thing that I didn't particularly enjoy was the whole subplot where Jaxon's soul was dying?? It felt sort of like something that was written in because the author backed herself into a corner and needed to find a way to propel the story forward. 
But besides those two things, I was on the edge of my seat for most of this book. I thought that the jail (currently blanking on the crazy name it had) was really well fleshed out. I think that all of the different aspects of it like the Hex and the Pit only added to the tension and anticipation I felt while reading that section of the book. 
I cried a total of 3 times reading this and it was all towards the end. 
1) When I was convinced Flint was a goner. He's a favorite of mine
2)When Jaxon actually DID die. MY whole brain was like ???Wtf???
3)When grace finally realized that she loved Hudson. Because I too am completely in love with him.
I was also ASTONISHED when I learned that her bond to Jaxon was fake but then when I looked back on it it made so much sense. 
Finally, that plot twist of an ending had me punching the air. I need to know where everyone is but more than that, what does the string do that Hudson says he needs to tell her about??

I really wanted to make it thru this series but 😭 I got so bored with 7 hrs left. I’m all for a long book but it’s so completely unnecessary in this story. I hate not finishing books but it had to be done. Two stars bc I did like the first half

I absolutely love these books. I find myself so wrapped up enjoying the story. It’s fun and pulls me out of my life. I like Hudson far better than Jaxon, he’s better for Grace, so I’m glad they get more time together. I love how Grace really develops her sense of self appreciation. The book can be silly at times, but it’s a great light read and perfect brain candy. Can’t wait for the next one.
