Cracked Kingdom

Not nearly as good as the original paper princess trilogy, but still a pretty ok guilty pleasure read. Plus I liked that it wrapped up some of the other story lines. I won't say they were wrapped up successfully and I definently need to know more about why some decisions were made but overall it was an Ok book.

This was worth the wait! Egads! After reading the 1st book in Easton and Hartley’s story, I was a lot miffed with East. I wondered if he would ever grow up? Could Hart and East find their HEA? This book did the impossible and I loved it from beginning to end. It invoked all the emotions and had me reading until the wee hours. It connected everything. It was twisty and turny. Truly, if you love a good soap opera then you should definitely read this entire series. Suspend your disbelief and enjoy the world Jen Fredrick and Elle Kennedy created. So good.

Oh. My. God. They’ve done it again. I don’t understand how they keep doing this, churning out book after book that is perfect. I’m completely heartbroken that the series has ended though. I think i would’ve liked a little more detail between the park and the end, that felt a little rushed, but other than that it was a great end and I'm so sad to see it end.

i just really hate the amnesia plot device so i was irritated for at least 1/3 of this book.

Беше ми любопитно да видя какво се случва особенно след края на „Прокудената наследница”, но като цяло не ми беше толкова приятно да я чета. За мен това е най-слабата книга в цялата поредица макар да разбули доста въпроси. Не я мразя, но определено не ми е и една от любимите. На доста моменти драмата ми идваше малко в повече, а в последните 30 страници имаше твърде много действия и ми беше трудно да проследя случващите се действия. Сватбата най-накрая ми хареса макар до последно да не се казваше кой с кого ще се сгодява. Мисля, че авторките ще продължат да пишат поредицата, но дали аз ще я продължа е по въпрос...

Honestly, I really enjoyed this very, very much.

(sad trombone) I loved the first 3 books in this series and even Fallen Heir I felt was exceptional... but Cracked Kingdom felt sort of like a let down. Cracked Kingdom follows the accident of the twins and Hartley... Hartley has lost her memory, Felicity is adamant on making her worst nightmares come true, and Easton just wants his girlfriend to remember him. What I Liked: -the ending -Collum and how he took care of his family -Easton's growth What I didn't like: -the first 50% felt unnecessary. I honestly felt like I was reading the same thing over and over again. Maybe that's what it was liked to be on loop and trapped in my tragic teenage brain? idk. -Easton and Hartley went from making out once to "we were dating" ummm did I skim when I shouldn't have? -Seb's bullying Overall it just fell flat I felt like the last 100 pages could have been incorporated into book 4 and had I would have left with a different feeling. ⭐️⭐️💫/5 🔥🔥/5
