This one is for my second chance romance lovers! Tatum and Harrison are back in each other’s lives 4.5 years after their passionate night in Catalina. 

If you’ve read Never Got Over You by S.L. Scott you may remember Tatum and Harrison. The same night their best friends met and fell in love was the same night Tatum and Harrison’s rocky relationship started. Fortunately for their friends it worked out, but for Tatum and Harrison it was a case of the right person, wrong time and place.

Tatum is a brick wall when it comes to relationships and opening up. She is self-destructive and stubborn but you cannot blame her for being skeptical of love when she has never known it. Tatum is used to be alone which makes it hard for her to trust people and let them in. Luckily for her, Harrison is on a mission to break down those walls. Harrison is a determined man who knows the spark between them is the real deal. Harrison was my favourite part of this book. He is steady, loyal, and reliable. All qualities that are needed to tear down Tatum’s walls. Harrison was patient and willing to put in the work to win Tatum’s heart and trust and he didn’t give up on her even though she made it hard for him to stay. The more Tatum started to open up her heart, the more I began to like her but Harrison was the star of this book. 

Their relationship was sweet and the chemistry was perfect. It was surprisingly steamy and by the end of the book your heart will feel happy. 

Go give it a read if you’re looking for a lighthearted second chance romance.

I enjoyed Tatum and Harrison’s story. We met them in Nat and Nick’s books so we know more about how they met in the past, so I wanted to read more about them and while I loved the characters I felt something was missing. Harrison was definitely my favorite, he was attentive and caring and I loved his relationship with Nick and his family. I liked Tatum too but she overreacted a lot of things so they fought a lot throughout the book and that was something I didn’t enjoy.

It was an easy read and I always wanted to keep reading but still I expected more because it had great things to be an amazing story.
