SO I FINALLY FINISHED READING THIS BOOK. IT ALMOST TOOK ME A WEEK TO FINISH IT, SO NOT BAD. IN THIS BOOK, GWEN GOES TO PRISON FOR BEING SUSPECTED OF BEING A REAPER AND HAVING PART OF FREEING LOKI AND ALL THE ATTACKS HIS FOLLOWERS HAVE HAD IN THE ACADEMY. NOT ONLY, WAS SHE SUPRISED TO KNOW THAT LOGAN'S DAD IS THE HEAD OF THE PROTECTORATE, BUT SHE GOT ARRESTED BY HIM! NOW THE WHOLE SCHOOL THINKS THAT SHE IS A REAPER MEANWHILE SHE GETS TRIALED UNTIL THE PROTECTORATE PEOPLE FIND HER INNOCENT OR GUILTY OF CHARGE. MEANWHILE ALL THAT HAPPENS, LOGAN'S STEPMOM ALSO COMES IN THE PICTURE. IT TURNS OUT SHE IS ALSO A PART OF THAT PROTECTORATE TEAM! OH GOODY! ANYWAYS, REAPERS ARE TRYING TO FIND A NEW BODY FOR LOKI SO HE CAN BE STRONG TO START THE NEXT BLOODY WAR BUT MEANWHILE GWEN IS ARRESTED, SHE IS STILL TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT THE REAPERS ARE UP TO. ONCE AGAIN GWEN MAKES A BIG SACRIFICE FOR EVERYBODY'S SAFETY, THEREFORE MAKING SOMEONE LEAVE THE ACADEMY FOR GOOD. NOW GWEN AND I ARE SOOOOO SAD BECAUSE OF THAT! THE NEXT BOOK WONT BE THE SAME NO MORE :( .

More of my reviews at Secrets of Lost Words. Rating: A+ Mythos Academy is one of my favorite series and I couldn't wait to read it once I got my hands on it. I've been waiting on this forever and being finally able to read it, *sighs happily*. My favorite part about this book (more like the whole series) are the characters. All of them have really different personalities that make them likable :) This is probably one of the best aspects of the book. Would it be weird if I told you my favorite was the talking dagger, Vic? With his British accent and violent language, he never fails to make me laugh any time :D The sad part is that there's not quite enough romance between Gwen and Logan. LOGAN FREAKING QUINN, PEOPLEZ. <-- like hottest Spartan ever Between trying to uncover the Reapers' plot and also trying not to die on trial, Gwen's got her hands full with things that we don't quite get enough scenes with our favorite Spartan. ^^Above complaint didn't stop from loving the book whole-heartedly though :) With bunch of action and lively characters, our Gypsy girl, Gwen, takes matters into her own hands again in this latest installment in the Mythos Academy series.
