Poisoned Web

Former assassin Azurha hopes to give her soon-to-be husband, Emperor Titus Sergius Flavus, the answer to their kingdom's biggest mystery: who killed Titus' father, and how? She's on the right trail but has run out of time, due to her upcoming wedding and responsibilities as a ruler. She asks her personal slave, Izana, to assist exiled forensics expert, Modius, in gathering information surrounding the death of the murdered emperor and these two investigators find that what seemed a simple poisoning may be a magical curse, instead.
