I heard about this book on booktube years ago on a channel by the name of Problems of a Book Nerd which mainly focsed on queer books. I'd been meaning to read it ever sense and it did not disappoint I loved the art style and the plot

YALL!!! This has become one of my new favorite comic series. I read these as individual issues but I was too lazy to count each one as a single book soooo. Anyway we basically follow this group of 5 girls working at a record store in the late 80's and they're part of a fight club. AND THERE ARE LESBIANS. LOTS OF THEM. Heavy Vinyl was so cute I had feelings for literally every character and the color palette was GORGEOUS I can't wait for more issues to be released.

With Rory in danger and Chris finally in on the crew's off-hour activities, they need a plan to get to her in time... and they find it in the most unexpected place!

Even though these are really short, I love the story! And the characters!!
I love reading about characters working in either book- or music shops, and this is just amazing!!

A very light and entertaining story. This is obviously just the beginning, so it was a quick introduction to everything, but it was really nice.

I’m really confused as to why they changed the name of the comic to Heavy Vinyl in the last(ish) issue? 

But other than that - I quite liked this, even though it seemed a bit rushed.

Now that Chris knows about Vinyl Mayhem's dark, amazing secret, it's time to get her in fighting shape to save Roary from certain musical DOOM!
