Estaba muy emocionada cuando comencé este libro, tenía tropes que amo y estaba desesperada por leerlos.

Me encantó la personalidad de Georgie. Súper linda y espontánea, literalmente un rayo de sol a lado del estoico y rígido guardaespaldas. Ethan es todo lo contrario a Georgie, al principio claro, recto y demasiado centrado en su trabajo. 

Poco a poco Georgie supo encantarlo y enamorarlo. No voy a mentir, estaba preocupada por el age gap, tenía miedo que fuera súper grande, pero solo es de 4 años y medio. Ella 18 y él 22-23. Me gustó que jamás me sentí incómoda por la brecha, ni sentí que era una relación de poder.

Ahora, las tres estrellas son por la pareja. Porque la trama la verdad decae mucho en el último 30%.

Hay muchas cosas que no me cuadran y que quedan sin resolver.
Esperaba que desarrollaran más las relaciones familiares. Que le dieran a Georgie un momento de papá y mamá, donde pudieran hablar y tratar de construir una relación más cercana.
También quería que Ethan hablara y volviera a conectar con su familia, e hiciera las pases con la pérdida de su padre.

No entiendo de dónde salió el susto de embarazo. No tuvo sentido. Mencionan que usaron condones la única vez que se describe gráficamente el acto, mencionan de pasada que lo hicieron tres veces más, pero jamás te da un indicio de que pudo haber quedado embarazada. Por lo tanto, el susto se me hizo puro relleno.

Esperaba que me dieran una conversación de Ethan con el presidente, que me dijeran cómo hizo para enfrentarse a él, volver a trabajar a la casa blanca y pedir salir con Georgie. Ahí hubo una brecha gigante que jamás se aclara.

Y finalmente el momento del “te amo”, jamás lo mencionan. Solo en el epílogo y me quedé con ganas de que hubiera un momento especial de revelación.

This was a 4 stars just for the vibes and bc i liked the fmc but plot wise it was a 2.5 stars

i needed more of them together bc they don’t get together until the very end, i also wanted it to be a bit more of forbidden bc everyone was okay with it like even her dad the president, like the only one with issues of them together it was the male main character, she forgave him too fast for my liking.
