Rating: 3 This book wasn't horrible, but it definitely is not a book I would read again. I loved the mixture of police procedural and paranormal and I also loved the main character. But, I would have loved to see the story grow more than what the author allowed it to. This is the first of the series but the next book doesn't focus on Emily and Colin. I wish it would continue. I am not sure if I will read the next book within this series. I felt there was a lot more sex than plotline in this book. Hot, steamy sex scenes are always enjoyable, however, I felt that the excessive amounts of sex scenes clouded the story for me. The story for me was too focused on the sex and the plot was not as strong as I would have liked it to be. I also felt the ending was a tad rushed. Overall, the book was very enjoyable and a light, fun read. But I don't think I would reread or continue the series. The author did well and her writing is interesting, but there's too little of action for me.
