           Oh, how I wanted to enjoy a good mystery novel....oh, how I was let down. This was actually painful to finish. The lead characters: weak, whiny, sanctimonious little shits. Plot line? Lazily thought up poorly executed. Surprise surprise, there was MONEY and GOLD and JEWELRY hiding in the vaults....YOU MEAN LIKE IN EVERY VAULT AND EVERY BANK IN AMERICA? Shocker. Smh. Oh, and the government was corrupt? I’ve never read such riveting material. Please save yourself the time (like I truly wish I had) and read something better!

I really enjoyed this story. I read it in conjuction with the audio version. It did take me a couple of chapters to get used to the narrative flow as it alternated between the past and current day. 
I especially liked how as the story progressed you started to see the intersection between the past and present characters and there were a couple twists I did not see coming

I really enjoyed this book. I was really drawn in from the beginning. I enjoyed how the story jumped from 2 different time periods for the same story/building. Very intriguing. I could not put the book down.
