Bound

I received an ARC of this book from the author and I voluntarily reviewed it. Thank you Dani René! I absolutely loved this book. It wasn't overly dark, it was suspenseful, angsty and oh so delicious. I'd been waiting for Mason's story for so long having seen him appear in the previous Sins of Seven books, and his story was most definitely worth the wait. Savannah and Mason and complex and original. There were plot twists I didn't see coming AT ALL, and I'm usually good at predicting them! I absolutely loved how captivating they are as a couple. You feel their connection jump off the pages. Truly electric. There is just so much to love about this book, the broken-ness (yes I just invented a word) of Mason, the complex past of both the characters, as well as their present and future. It is such a layered story. The plot is expertly crafted and keeps you reeling until the very end. Lastly, Dani René's writing was beautiful in this story. I love the way she reinforces the theme and uses the same word to symbolise different things. It gives the book a certain unity and coherence I love to find. Definitely a must-read.
