Dan’s Den
Dan’s Den is a memoir that weaves the childhood portion of Daniel’s life. He was born in the second last decade of the twentieth century in Madras city and spent most of his life living his little dreams even if it was to take some adverse risks. A daringly stupid decision taken by him at ten could have torn his life apart, but the good Lord has been so loving and caring to him thus bringing him this far. The memoir takes you through his life journey in the boarding school located in central Madras which is meant for the Anglo-Indian boys. The memoir elucidates how spending one’s childhood in the midst of innovative, creative, passionate, and dedicated educators can help the child for lifetime. The simple usage of language is to portray the honest narration of all the experiences among the boarders and day scholars in St. Bede’s Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School. The memoir is a treat for the Bedeans of all times and for all those who love their schools, their childhood, and their loved ones. by Daniel Joseph (@ St. Bede’s from 1992 – 99)
