This was engaging enough that I wanted to keep reading to find things out, but I realized I often had little interest in and usually bored by much of the description and dialogue.

this was boring and a drag and a pain to get through. it was gifted to me and not something that i naturally would pick up. so maybe it being so horrible was a me problem and not a problem with the book.
