I LOVE KERIS!!! THERE, I SAID IT. 

First, big congratulations to the narrators. I loved their performance, Especially Michael's performance. The way he made the laugh of the Magpie, sent chills down my arms!!! That man is crazy and Michael's performance is magnificent. Also, you can feel the grief and the anger in his voice when portraying Kerin's emotions. Summer is fantastic as Zarrah, but also when she has to change the tone in her voice to represent other women in communication with Zarrah.

Now, about the book. I LOVE IT MORE THAN THE FIRST TWO! I love Lara and Aren's books, their story, and how they grow, but oh boy, do I love this book even more. Keris is magnificent. He hides in plain site and knows how to use his abilities to fight. He doesn't rely on strength, but also on his brain, which is a more powerful and dangerous weapon. He caught my attention in "The Traitor Queen", and when I finally read his story, wooow, simply woooow! The way his mind works and his growth from the beginning till the end of the book is absolute perfection. HE LOVES BOOKS, BOOKS ABOUT THE STARS! HOLY SWEET MOTHER ABOVE, I LOVE HIM EVEN MORE FOR THIS! (He has something from Rhysand in him:)))

Zarrah is amazing. I absolutely loved her character growth from the girl, who went blindly with hate for the rival country, to the girl who understood that its people aren't to blame for the ruler's filth. I'm not sure I can blame her for her reaction when she learned who she had been intimate with, but I'm happy she saw past the name in the end. I really thought she was going to beat the crap out of Kerin with her staff :)))

I love how the story is written, how it is interlaced with some key scenes from The Traitor Queen, and how the plot and the schemes are put into action. How our main characters met in the shadows and how they fought for each other when the other was in danger or about to be discovered for treason. AND THAT ENDING!!!!! 

Spectacular book. I loved every page of it. The audiobook is perfect.

again, love this series. Had a hard time with the first chapter but after that I could not put it down. Love the phase of it and how we get more points of view. 

Do not like the part where we don’t follow Lara and Arend anymore, but Zarrah and Keris is a breath of greasy air too

there's something about this series that even if it had 10 books I would read them all 😩.
I feel like the next book is gonna be another banger like the traitor queen I can't wait 💗💗

This was nowhere near as good the first two books. 
Keris and Zarrah didn’t do it for me.

I have to have a complete moment of honesty and say that I didn’t think I was going to love another The Bridge Kingdom couple as much as Aren and Lara.

Keris and Zarrah gave me everything. I don’t know how to write a coherent review to express the amount of love I have for these two, how much I adored their story and build-up, so here you go, plain and simple: I LOVE THEM! Maybe even more than Aren and Lara, or at the very least at the same level as them.

As for the plot, this book runs on the same timeline as 

. In fact, there are some overlapping scenes that we’ve seen already, but we witness them through Keris and Zarrah’s POVs. Despite knowing how the major events would play out, the book wasn’t boring in the slightest. If anything, I think I enjoyed seeing the events even more here, and it’s all thanks to Keris’s masterful scheming. I swear, his intelligence is more attractive than his looks, which is saying something. I also loved seeing more of the harem, especially Coralyn’s character. I enjoyed her in The Traitor Queen, but seeing her more fully in this book and delving into her beautiful relationship with Keris made me love the character even more. If Olenna Tyrell and Cersei Lannister had a baby, it would be Coralyn.

Now, I’m going to read the Lara and Aren story, and then I’m going to cry for the next book, which I need like my next breath.

A fantastic addition of information to the series as well as some insight into the planning of the main event in The Traitor Queen. I definitely prefer Lara and Aren over Keris and Zarrah but still liked the book overall. Can't wait for the next one!

I loved this book and this series!
This book was great. I loved Keris and Zarrah and Sara.
I did find it at times slow as we built up to where the traitor queen got to, and I found most of my problems came from the concurrent timelines. I was waiting until we got to the parts we already knew about, and was inpatient to get there.
Still, I understand what happened and why it did and the book needed it.
It’s a great series, very spicy too, and I can’t wait for the final book!

This book was excellent. I loved the characters and their development. The spice was mild but definitely there and a fun time to read. I also loved how the plot of this happens basically at the same time as the other books of the series so it was super fun to get to see things from a different perspective. 

It lost a star for me bcos it just didn’t have that sparkle that I got from the other two books. To be honest, although I did like the two MCs, I still prefer Lara and Aren 😬 and it felt very long to me and towards the end I did start to get a lil bored (although the very end did pull it back) 

Overall I love this series and this world so I’m always going to read whatever DLJ gives me, and I reallllly hope in book 4 we get all four of the MCs from this series working together cos that would SLAP
