Daphne du Maurier was just such unbelievable writer! The writing style, the mysterious dark atmosphere of her stories... When I read Rebecca I simply could not stop, the story so real in front of my eyes. This collection of stories by her were the similar vibe, eerie, unsettling but absolutely delightful. Some of them were harder to read as the atmosphere was quite "thick" and sometimes too eerie, because all the stories were so realistic, so believable.
The way this is written is beautiful, a true masterpiece of classic stories. I cannot wait to buy another of du Maurier´s book for my collection and devour it and cherish it.

I highly recommend this amazing author of iconic stories, the masterpiece that will make you think about the meaning of each of them.
