This was my least favourite of the 8 or so Daphne du Maurier books I have read or listened to. All the characters were unbearable (so well written I suppose) and I took a big pause in the middle because it was stressful! In the end I had to commit and finish it, but would not read again, which I might with some of her others (such as Frenchman's Creek).
