***5 Stars*** Dark Needs is the companion Novella to The Dark Light of Day. So if you haven't read TDLOD, you need to read it first or this Novella will not make any sense. In Dark Needs, we get more into Jake's head. We learn just how much love he has not only for Abby but, for Georgia too. And of course their story would not be complete without someone showing up and throwing a wrench into their "perfect" lives. There is a little bit of blood, jail time, and of course some steamy scenes. We are also introduced to the mighty Brantley King!!! Which helps tie in the King series to these. This Novella is just perfect especially if you are wanting just a bit more of Abby, Jake, and Georgia.
