I hated Justin. This book didn't pull me in as much as the first one but still good. The cliffhanger ending though.

I was super thrilled to read this particular book having read Every Day just recently. Although I knew there won't be the freshness in the plot, still there were so many questions left unanswered from Rhiannon's perspective. I finished this book in no time practically, partly because I felt I was going through some parts again, for little utility.So, I skimmed through the dialogues that I found repetitive. Yes- they sounded beautiful from A's perspective, but Rhiannon's words made everything look like it was deceitful, and she was unfortunately made to look like the bad guy here.
I'll give this to the author- he did write R's perspective with so much conviction that it made me empathise with her, overriding the sympathy I had towards A earlier.

But, what goes without saying is the part where A woke up in R's body- I had all my excitement directed towards it. It was worth it. If i am given an option between Every Day and Another Day, I'd choose the latter, though EVery Day is the novel that endears me to the author. Another day after ED sounds like a justification! Nevertheless, it was amusing by and by. Sequel is still awaited.

A sequel to the book that did not need a sequel. But then again, it's not exactly a sequel as it's not a continuation but just the same story, only in the POV of Rhiannon.

2.5 stars dnfed at 60% got extremely bored. What a dull main character. This book genuinely wasn’t needed

i already didn’t like rhiannon in the first book and this one just made that feeling stronger. i know she’s only 16 or 17 but at that age, she shouldn’t be that ignorant anymore to call vic a “girl-who’s-a-boy”! it’s the same plot, only through rhiannon’s eyes which, frankly, i would have preferred not to read but i’m a perfectionist who would be totally bothered & unsettled if i don't complete the whole series. 

anyways, glad i had this book to at least accompany me when i couldn’t use my phone! rhiannon, i’m rooting for your growth. 🙏

Okay, but this book was ... not necessary? If there was to be a sequel, it should have been from A's point of view and not Rhiannon's. I read because I thought it would explain more of how it is to jump from mind to mind and was disappointed that it reiterated the EXACT SAME story. Why? 

I didn't like A and Rhiannon's relationship much at all. It was destructive and disruptive, and Rhiannon should not have cheated on Justin. 

Also, misgendering. So much misgendering, For a gay icon in YA lit, I'm really disappointed in the misgendering - calling A he, even when A was in the body of a girl and ESPECIALLY misgendering Vic, who was trans.

I really loved this book. More than I loved the first book I think. It was a pretty quick read, but partially because I couldn't put it down! 

Another Day is the sequel to everyday. They have the same plot, except instead of taking place in A's point of view, this book takes place in Rhiannon's. 

I just love the concept of this story. I love the characters, I love the plot, I love the slight mystery to it. And I can't wait to see what happens next. 

I recommend this to everyone who's read "Every Day" though I suppose you technically don't have to read them in order... I think it makes more sense to read "Every Day" first.

WOW! I thought I loved Every Day but this, this was just brilliant!! I really enjoyed reading this!! 
I really liked Rhiannon's side of the story, and felt like I could relate to her so much more than I could to A.
I am really thankful to David Levithan for writing this, for giving the story of Rhiannon and A so much more through this book than I could have every wished for. This felt real, this story is so close to my heart, it is unreal. 
I know this review is probably all over the place, but I just finished this wonderful book and I can't help but wonder if this could actually work, if and how this story could continue and how to convince David Levithan to actually write a sequel...

I really, really loved this, with all my heart. This story shows you that love, is love. It may not be easy, but love is worth fighting for. I'm just glad that such stories remind me how lucky I am for having this. LOVE.

Another Day is basically the same story as Every Day, yet told through the view point of Rhiannon. As I stated before, I’m not always a fan of this type of thing… but if it’s done right, it really adds a lot to the story. And I think this was was done just right.
 
“I find myself looking into people’s eyes more than I ever did before. And I realize, that’s where we stop being a certain gender or color. Just look right into the center of the eye.”

Rhiannon is living her mundane life, day after day. She’s accepted that her boyfriend, Justin, isn’t perfect, but he’s a constant. As long as she doesn’t make him mad, he’s okay. Then one day she has the most wonderful day with her boyfriend, and she’s longing for another day like that. He made her feel things she hadn’t felt in so long. They laughed, joked, and had the most fun they’ve ever had together. The next day though, Justin has no memory of that day, and Rhiannon is at a loss as to what she just experienced. That’s when she finds out that A took on the body of Justin for the day, and it was A that brought her such happiness that day. But can Rhiannon accept this reality?

I thought Another Day was a well-done addition to Every Day. I read the two stories pretty close together, and I wasn’t bored at all hearing the story told a second time through someone else’s eyes. It was just as strong, just as emotional, and I felt even a bit more connected to Rhiannon in this story than I did in Every Day.

I would definitely recommend reading Another Day if you’ve read and enjoyed Every Day. It adds a whole new level to this story. I would definitely recommend reading Every Day first. Though they are listed as “companion novels”, you really should read A’s story before hearing it from Rhiannon’s side. A great duo that I would definitely recommend when you’re looking for something a little different to dive into.

Audiobook Impressions:
Kathleen McInerney is a seasoned narrator, and one I am never disappointed by. She narrates all different types of books, from children’s books, to YA, some chick lit, and more. She’s a fantastic narrator that knows how to bring a story to life by performing the characters to such a exceptional level. They couldn’t have picked a better narrator for this story!

I mean yeahhhh , there was so info provided about Rhiannon but the conversations between A and Rhiannon were QUOTED . So I mean ...
