A. Manuscripts of his novel Johnno: 1. Very early version (1967, 1970-1971), handwritten and extensively altered. This version is very different from the final work, with different characters. 2. A handwritten and typescript version written in Florence in 1972. 3. A typescript prepared for the typist in April-May 1974. This is close to the published version, but there are many handwritten alterations. B. First typescript copy made from original manuscript of An Imaginary Life by Christopher Edwards in February 1977.
