*I am so sorry for the amount of cursing that is about to take place* MEGHAN FREAKING MARCH! What the hell did you just do to me??? Honestly, you are a genius. Sad to say that this was my first Meghan March read. And damn I’m hooked. How do you do that?? Meghan is a fabulous writer. She writes so beautifully. She paints you such a clear picture of what you’re reading in so few words. Authors like her are few and far between and this book was just wow. I am so so so glad that I freaking waited for all three of these books to come out before I started to read them. How I actually made this happen is beyond me. I have heard NOTHING but high praises for this trilogy and damn no one was wrong. This book is FANTASTIC. India (Indy) Baptiste is a strong, independent, feisty savvy woman. She knows what she wants and tries her best to not let anybody get in her way, except for Jericho Forge of course. Jericho mother-fucking Forge is a badass alpha male with the ego and personality that is larger than life. I totally wanted to kill him and also be locked in a room with him for a night. Both India and Jericho work so well together. They know exactly how to push each other‘s buttons and also how to take it to the next level. That ending had me shook and I am so glad I have the other two books to get right into. God bless anyone who read these books right when they came out. I honestly don’t think I would be able to make it through the torture of waiting between the books. Such a cliffhanger and you can’t wait to see what happens next. I highly recommend this book if you love a dominant alpha male and a very strong-willed woman. I am giving this the most stars I’ve ever given a book. I’m sorry but 5 stars aren’t enough.

When India finds herself out on the Mediterranean with the deviously sexy shipping tycoon Jericho Forge she didn’t expect to find anything more than a means to solve her situation. Instead Indy found the one man who may ignite more than her fury. Since I’ve started the epic romance that is Forge and Indy I haven’t been able to put it down.

So so hot. Every woman deserves a Forge. But also, that cliffhanger, WHAT HAPPENS

yeaaaah this ain't it chief. i don't know it if was the audiobook that made the lines sound cringy af but damn those were some of the cringiest dialogues i've ever read in a romance book. referring to his dick as "the kraken", the H saying shit like "she was waiting for the right dick to come along" lmao i'm sorry but the writing was just laughable. i'm only giving it two stars for the last chapter because i think she pulled an interesting twist by the end but yeah, this was not worth my time nor i think is this trilogy.

Deal With the Devil, which tells the story of Jericho Forge and India Baptiste is the latest offering from Meghan March. It is the first book in the Forge Trilogy and for those who fear the dreaded cliff-hanger you may want to wait until all the books are released, but for readers who have no qualms about it, this book is not to be missed. The story begins with Jericho showing up for a high stakes poker game he was not invited to. Here he comes face to face with India. This game is important to her, so Jericho's appearance was a major cinch in her plans, but then he might just be the one person who can assist her. Jericho is like no other man she has encountered. She knew from the moment she laid eyes on him this would be nothing like her usual poker game. Both are determined to win, bit there can be only one winner. Who will it be? Jericho is ruthless and unapologetic. He doesn't give a damn as to what anyone thinks of him. If he wants something he will do his damnedest to get it and woe be on to the man or woman who tries to get in his way. Vengeance drives his actions, which makes him a deadly foe, but with India he never knew what hit him. She is like no other woman he has encountered. She challenges him and elicits feelings he never thought possible. India is no walkover. I enjoyed getting to know her. Resilient, smart, feisty, confident, proud, bold, impulsive and beautiful describes her perfectly. Her life growing up made her the person she is today, but now she is caught between a rock and a hard place. She has no choice but to trust the one man who has the power to turn her world upside down. The intense chemistry between Jericho and India had the power to make made my phone overheat. Yes the attraction between sizzled to the point of melting. It was fun watching them fight these intense feelings. When they finally gave into their feelings it was explosive. Hooked from the first page. I had a hard time putting this book down. The drama, suspense, mystery, humor, chemistry and banter had me turning the pages. I needed to know how the story would unfold. The end left me in a state of anticipation. Now i am on pins and needles waiting for the release of the second book Luck of the Devil. Conclusion/Recommendation If you love your heroes strong and protective and your heroines bold and sassy then you will love Jericho and India. Highly recommended.

Book #1 in the Forge Trilogy did not disappoint. I was honestly quite shocked at what transpired in this book. But it kept me interested with all the twists and turns. The main thing I didn't like was India (view spoiler)[being tricked into marriage (hide spoiler)]. Did not enjoy that. And India doesn't always make the best of decisions. However, the pacing was well done and we're starting to see some character development. This book always has quite the sex scene (okay several) and if smut isn't for you, then I wouldn't recommend this at all. I'm interested to see where this trilogy goes and how everything wraps up.
