Isle of Tears

A powerful story of love and loss set during the tumultuous six years of the Land Wars: it is the story of a young Pakeha girl, Megan Jamieson, who along with her older brothers and younger brother and sister is abducted by Maori after the murder of their parents. Raised by Maori, and rescued by British forces, and the object of curiosity, she must decide between two worlds, and lose part of her heart forever.
