Gone Too Far
Reviews

This is the first book that I have a chance to read from Debra Webb, and I can say is one of the best books that I ever read. I couldn’t put this book down till the last page. This book is definitely easy to read and easy to get into the story. One of the things that I love about this book is the relationship and dynamic between the main characters Kerri Devlin and Luke Falco. The book begins with the murder of the district attorney, Asher Walsh, and the owner of the exclusive tobacco bar, Leo. In the short time of the investigation, Devlin and Falco quickly linked the double homicide with the former detective Sadie Cross. While they are at the beginning of the integration, Devlin gets a call from her daughter's school where she hears the information that her daughter Tori gets in a malicious accident with a fellow student. Sadie Cross is one of the most essential characters in the book besides Devlin and Falco. In the book, we will learn more about her past when she was deep undercover in a Mexican drug cartel. Now she trying the find the truth about herself in that one year when she has despaired. As they begin to unearth the truth, they soon discover that the more secrets are revealed, the more fatal the consequences will be.
