The premise of this book seems so ridiculous at first: John Le Carré meets the supernatural?? But after reading the first few chapters & realizing that Powers changed none of the factual historical dates of events surrounding Kim Philby's double career, I began to appreciate what was being done in this book. Colour me impressed!
