Dento Hayane

After meeting in a seaside town during their solo-travels, Kazushi Kimijima and Tatsumi Higaki find themselves as patrons of the same inn. The friendly Kazushi invites the pensive Tatsumi for a drink as a favor for his help during a prior sand-in-eye plight. Kazushi finds out little by little why his new acquaintance is so apprehensive. What will he do when Tatsumi unveils his deepest secret and with it, his deepest fear?

The story itself was fine. A very 3.5. But I think what made me enjoy my time with this by the end was how that story was being told. Their connection to each other, the flow of the story using both of their past and present POVs, Tatsumi's voice power, and wanting to know if Tatsumi really did use his power on Kazushi and if he actually remembered anything.

I was having fun waiting to see how much Kazushi remembers or if he does at all.
